Ford App ver 6.16.0 Having Known Issues per Ford

Just got 6.11. It shows the recall for the trailer module reprogramming for my F150, but not the one seatbelt one on the BS. They will get there......eventually.

Ford App v6.11.0 is available - but probably also does not fix the issue of recalls not showing

No recalls yet, but it is getting better.

Just today, my app is showing oil life for the first time in weeks. Of course, the actual percentage is inaccurate, because the car reset itself again last week along with setting the "My View" back to the factory defaults. It happens every ten days or so. This reset issue is annoying, and I've seen multiple people complain about it.

They keep issuing “updates” to the app, but I don’t see much difference version over version... and CarPlay still has the “place holder” Ford icon in SYNC4.

Pretty unimpressive, IMO.

I have sync 4 on my Maverick and I have a Ford icon.

Yeah, but what happens when you tap it? That icon has been there for a couple of months, but all it gives you is a splash screen saying that “something” is coming. On SYNC3, it opens the native Ford settings app.

I haven’t checked it in a couple of days, so was asking if they updated that with this iPhone Ford app update.

There’s another ford icon on sync 3 besides the one you mentioned … it also says something is coming

Ford App v6.16.0 is available - a later post in this thread states v6.16.0 shows recalls when there is a fix available for the recall

I updated to 6.16.0. The 26C10 Trailer Module Programming recall for my
Maverick is showing up in my app now. Also, I learned something on the @fordvideoguy YouTube channel. Recalls don’t show up in the app until a fix is available. So I guess it’s possible we’ve assumed the app is not functioning correctly when possibly it has been and we just didn’t understand how it works??

Good to know and thanks for sharing … there’s no applicable recalls for my badlands and the App (all recent versions) accurately reports no recalls

CSPs used to show up in the App long ago but even where there is a fix CSPs aren’t showing
