Got mine fixed today.

The dealer called and said a fix was available. The stopped by my place of business with their mobile repair service and completed it, plus the Sync recall, with nary an inconvenience to me.
so what was the fix, the only thing I know of is a interim software flash until they decide on the real fix.

and what's this about a sync recall ?

Were you still on SYNC Build 22251?

According to my Ford Pass app, a PCM fix is not yet available.

Just call your dealer.

Whether or not your vehicle requires the PCM fix is dependent on how your vehicle was built, what prior recall(s) if any your vehicle already had completed, and if the software was correctly flashed in the prior recalls.

If you call the service dept of your local dealer they should be able to tell you if you already have the PCM fix and it's just a matter of waiting for whatever physical remedy to the underlying problem or if you need them to update the PCM software.
