Yes, long McArthur has a couple of videos about ordering 2026. Looks like 26 will be last year. I think Ford s making a mistake ending the Escspe and relying on the Bronco Sport. Not really the same thing.
Not the same, but Ford could add a couple more trims to the BS. A hybrid, and a lower end with few options.

I'm not sure how they can hybridize the Bronco Sport without sacrificing all that wonderful interior space. I'm also not sure if Ford will have the motivation to even try, with the vehicle assembly still in Mexico.

I could see it for two reasons. First if there's high enough demand, and second to keep their CAFE numbers.
I don't know how much of a demand there will be though.

I'm in Canada, "A" plan here is cost +1%. Which ended up being a 10% savings on the big bend. The more you spec out the vehicle with factory options the greater the discount.
Thanks, that seems like a fair deal.

Just curious, what is the employee discount on say a $40,000 Ford?
How would you know if you were actually getting the same deal as them?
I can’t imagine a car salesman actually telling me the whole truth about much of anything. Anyone here buy recently with the employee pricing?
I can tell you how Parks Ford in gainesville does the so called employee pricing.....they add a charge called "Parks Perks" that adds anywhere from 3 to 4K to the MSRP price to give you molded mats and window tinting, plus a tank of gas every time you bring the vehicle in for service. IMO, its not worth the money, and they will not remove the charge. So, that wipes the so called employee pricing.

Now I know why this quarter was good for Ford (up 44%).

That is a Dealer thing and a walk away thing. My Dealer had no such add-ons and did not require a deposit to order my car. If I am not happy for any reason once it comes in I can walk away.

I did just that...I walked away.

Then a Ford rep called to ask me why I could not deal with them. After a few emails, she assured me that a deal was close, and I was to go back and talk with one of the sales managers (name withheld). I went back with the printed copies of the emails I had with this Ford rep who set me up with an appointment with him. The sales manager was not there, and I was assigned to a new sales person.

I was being used as a guinea pig to educate a new sales associate.

I walked once again. I will speak my disappointment against Parks Ford sales any chance I can get.

Their service department was good though.

I totally get what you are saying. Are you still having your Bronco Sport serviced by the dealer? Even though I have not gone through what you did trying to buy my BS I have gone through a few salesman at the dealer before using the one that I am currently working with. For various reasons I just didn't click with the previous salesmen. If it was up to me I would bypass the sales department and go straight to the service department. I am also happy with my service department and it is really the primary reason I have purchased my Ford's from the dealer but if my dealer pulled the stuff yours did I would have bought somewhere else and considered still using the service department after the sale.

I'm currently waiting for the Hemi to be reintroduced into the Jeep (late this year). I will then visit with them to consider buying a V6 Jeep, as I'm assuming the big boys will want the Hemi equipped Jeeps, and the V6's will be rotting on the lots and can perhaps get a deal on one of those.

Still Stellantis/FCA/AMC. Wouldn’t buy a post-1970 Jeep for a penny on the dollar. Give me a CJ-5 any day.

With the research on pricing, plus my excellent credit score, I know what a fair market value is on the Jeep (the same I did for Bronco Sports and full size Bronco). If it does not match what I'm looking to pay, I walk.

Had a CJ-5 years ago. That 304 V8 leaked oil to the point I never had to do an oil change; I merely added quarts monthly.

Like 3” .50 gun mounts and SH-2 Seasprites, if it wasn’t leaking, you knew you were in trouble. :D

The front driveshaft U-joint broke while we were driving (slowly down the street thank god) and the rear catapulted upward. My wife would not get into that Jeep ever again. Sold it after repairing it.

A lot of the Ford dealers in the Tampa area do the same thing especially if its run by Morgan Auto Group. I live 1 mile from a shady Ford dealer who gives you a bunch if cheap useless add ons and forces it. The dealer in Davenport and hour and a half away I found had a package add on, but didn't even bring it up when I called. I actually saw the sticker attached to the window sticker when I got it. The salesman sent me over an out the door price with the employee pricing which actually matched their website and was super simple. Sticker on mine was just over 46k and I got mine for 41k after everything not including my trade. I know Mullinax who is a volume dealer is good with out the door pricing and no dealer fee too. I'm glad I took advantage of it because I honestly never would have spent 46k plus tax, tag, etc..
