I'm retired, the wife's still working (LEO, so no weekends or holidays as most know them), and y'all are taking advantage of the three-day instead of being here. So here I sit, refreshing the page for hours and hoping that there's anything new or updated in the community. So go ahead and have a good time without me. I'll be fine, really.

And I'm STILL waiting on delivery of my BS, 199 days and counting.
[/tongueincheek]

Hope everyone's Fourth was productive, not too sunburnt (or hungover), and all the fingers they went into the weekend with are still attached. :D

Sometimes it is slow here, sometimes there's good info, sometimes a lot of whining (and not the turbo kind). Other times, some mod-up and show off their projects, which I enjoy, especially when they show the steps and roadblocks they have encountered. But there is usually something, There are a TON of different subsets to this forum, you just have to look for them.

I was joking (hence the [tongueincheek] tag), knowing most folks had actual plans for the holidays. But it was definitely crickets around here for a couple days. :)

I'm retired as well, aside from You tube and project around the house, I check the forums, Truth Social, X and Next door

7 months...WTF!
Still trying to figure out what held it up so long, not that it matters anymore.

Should be at the dealer's tomorrow, and they were told explicitly to not add any of the standard crap, like extra tint, door protection, and all the other useless crap, so it shouldn't take more than a few hours in PDI, etc. Hoping to pick it up this Wednesday if it's ready. If not, then next week.

Extra tint? I custom ordered mine a few years back so I could be wrong but I thought 70% in the front and 35% everywhere else was standard. I later had mine tinted to 20% all the way around. Gonna do my windshield next….

When we were deciding which local dealer to order our BS BL from, I was offered the most outrageous dealer add-on I've ever heard of.

COVID was still a big concern. The salesman said they had an anti-viral treatment for the HVAC system. It would coat the inside of the ductwork and kill 99.999% of all viruses in the air (but only if you believe)!

The special discount price was $1,600!!

That immediately eliminated that dealer from consideration.

@TN Badlander, overpriced and poorly applied extra tint by the dealer is common in the Phoenix area, even though the factory tint is usually sufficient. In AZ, tint is no less than 33% on the front sides, no limitations behind the front sides, and nothing below the AS-1 line on the windshield.

@sajohnson, the COVID treatment is certainly original, but not surprising. I’m sure they also recommended reapplying every six months.
