I think our orders, timing and location are similar except I’m on the east coast. My OB was dropped at the last rail location last week and hasn’t been to the dealer yet. The rail said “Taft Florida” and when I Google that along with “CSX” it shows as Apopka. How did you know your last rail location? Calling the rail company or did the dealer tell you later?
Salesman told me where the train dropped off my BS OB. Train depot was at Tampa Airport area. My BS might have been the only vehicle on truck for that dealership; only 30 minutes from airport. Since so close, first truck stop than the truck continues on to other dealers.
If ya think about the entire process (from ordering to buying), it is so complex, including shipping chips, parts, etc to factory. I guess had a good salesman / dealership and got lucky.?

I've got my Big Bend with me (that I drove with an abundance of caution across the country) which will be traded in for my ordered Badlands.
Check out selling your Big Bend to Carvana before you trade it in. You'll get more for it. I just sold my 2021 Big Bend to Carvana and got more than what I paid.

My dealership offered me 5k more than what I originally paid for my BB, exactly what Carvana offered. I'm also looking to not pay a crazy amount of state taxes again, so trading it directly to the dealer is my best bet. I'll only be taxed on the difference between my trade value and new purchase price. Thank you though! I've been planning this for quite a bit and was excited they gave me a good offer.

Looks like no news this week as they are scheduling dealer retail orders only.

this is driving me mad.
Retail orders are customer orders as opposed to dealer stock. You won't know anything until the end of the week.

I received an email on 3/16 stating my Big Bend was shipped, but the Ford tracking site still doesn't show a check mark or a date for shipped after 2 weeks. Does this mean it's sitting on a lot someplace waiting for a rail car?

My experience was the check mark didn't show up until that process was completed. I think the shipped check mark didnt show up until it was delivered. I'm in N. TX and a pretty straight shot from where they enter the states and it took 12 days to get here. I wouldn't panic yet.

Odd thing, Tim Bartz (@fordvideoguy ) said in his Facebook Q&A last week that Ford isn't sending out "scheduled to week" emails anymore and will only be sending out "scheduled to day" emails. He also posted about this on the Maverick forums. I find it odd because so many people over the last couple of weeks here got their emails. I'll reach out and see if this is Maverick specific or affects all product lines.

It was the Maverick Brand Manager that told me but the reasoning behind it would affect all models not just Maverick.

I'm in a really weird spot because I think I'm quite possibly the only person hoping their build does not arrive early.
I'm an Arizona resident currently on a 4-month detail assignment working on a different National Forest in North Carolina. I've got my Big Bend with me (that I drove with an abundance of caution across the country) which will be traded in for my ordered Badlands. Dealer told me 4-6 months when I ordered in early March. I'm sincerely hoping that timeline is correct, because thinking about my dream build sitting on the lot waiting for me to get back is just depressing. I haven't heard anything yet on a build date, but having that in hand would make me feel a lot better about things lining up.
You’re not alone. I’m moving from PA to CA end of July. Ordered from a CA dealer in February. Got a June 6th production week. Hoping it arrives near end of July or beginning of august!

But what does that mean "scheduled to day" ? Probably a dumb question, but I am yet to be scheduled for production and have not received one of those emails and I thought those emails listed a day that it was scheduled to be built. I am beginning to lose patience and I am starting to think at this point they probably want people to cancel their orders. Especially since now they will be sending out Big Bronco's without navigation and other features and not even providing a dealer add on later. I put in a custom order because I wanted these options and to wait months and then be told that it will be made without it (should it come to that) would really make me mad. Not to mention the longer I wait the longer I will be reminded of the old FORD jokes before ordering this - Found On Roadside Dead, Fix Or Repair Daily.. recalls and missing parts are making those jokes a reality.

I’m beginning to get worried as well.

i have a lease ending in September and was told when I ordered in December that it would be plenty of time.

i know there’s still months to go but I don’t want to get caught with my pants down.
