Sorry. He said it has not come in yet. It's coming via Fedex and he's been having all sorts of delays with that crappy shipping service.

Believe me, I am as impatient with this as the next guy. I figured, best case it's the right one, I save $150 and install it on my BS and give my Escape one to my wife for her Escape. Though, at $150ish I would not count on it being the right one.

Worst case, It's the regular, plain one and I buy another Escape one he has on hold for me and he sends back the BS one. Either way, I'll post on here the minute I find out.

I've sold one here already at his/my cost. The only 'upcharge' is shipping fee. Unless you parts people match online prices even with the cost to ship to you it'll probably still come out cheaper.

The actual "just a button" part is $160 anyhow, so if the entire assembly is $150 it's a steal.

Lol this was my thought exactly. Yes, people are willing to pay $100+ to effectively add a button to their vehicle. Not your cup of tea? Great! Move along and go be insufferable somewhere else! The only thing worse than someone that posts nothing of value is someone who shits on others that do.

I personally enjoy seeing what others do with their vehicles - whether I would do the same to mine or not. If the owner likes it, that's all that matters. I'm sure there are mods I would make to my vehicle others would not. I'm glad we all have different tastes and experiences. Imagine how boring and uninformative this forum would be if we all had the same color, trim and add-ons.

I think you'll be pleased.

I just ordered one for my wife's Escape SEL and, besides the hidden part of the mount being a different color, there is almost no way to tell the difference.
