Hi @bjbena! Now that it's been a little while, did you ever happen to discover the actual Bronco Sport part number for the Homelink visor? The Escape one is working well, however, we just picked up a Maverick Hybrid too which takes the same exact visors. I would love to swap my Escape visor into...
Really strange. Ford must have changed something. My OBX was built in December '20 (Hermosillo) with delivery in January '21 and has ambient lighting in the cupholders.
Confirming once again that the part number with the shroud is indeed M1PZ-5843401-AA. Just got it myself and will be installing soon. Thanks again for this step-by-step!
Here to report success!! You are right that it doesn't pull out as far as the BS one does, but like you, I don't use it that way so it shouldn't bother me. Installing scared me a bit since I had to use some force to pull over the beige cover, but once that was off (and thankfully didn't break)...
Fortunately, Schultz approved the return... going to ship that back out to them today or tomorrow. I'm interested to learn if that AA part number is the right one this time.
Received my visor today via Tasca Parts - and it looks great - identical to the one that's in the Bronco Sport right now. Buttons are beige, which I suspect they all are (the renders are likely incorrect on this for the 22's). Any thing I should know before attempting to install? Anything you...
I ordered it from Schultz Ford so I’ve emailed them asking about a return. If not, hopefully there’s a market for it on eBay. I really hope they accept the return though.

Here to report that this is very much a YMMV situation. I ordered part # M1PZ5843401BAPTM as mentioned in this thread, and it arrived with the notch-less shroud... waste of money and time as I don't need another shroud without a notch. Frustrating to say the least.

LOL turns out the other company (Royalty) cancelled my order. I just found an email dated 2/12 - they never did respond to my calls or emails. SO yeah, dodged a bullet there, I guess.
Oh yeah, I know. I will be watching it closely - I called my credit card company too, just in case. They said it wouldn't be an issue to contest the charge, especially since I went out of my way to try and cancel the order. Tasca hasn't shipped anything just yet, but since I ordered this...
That other place's charge fell off my card... so I've gone ahead and ordered from Tasca. Might be a little more expensive, but I'm at least familiar with their service! Will keep the thread posted :)
Thanks - I almost went with Tasca... but I guess that's what I get for trying to save a handful of bucks LOL. I almost always order from actual Ford dealers. I'll do that from now on. I'll be disputing the charge (if it ever happens) from Royalty.
