Yes there is a fog light button you can push and they both stay on. Thats how I drive the more light the better just make sure they are angled/pointed right as to not blind everyone.
Wait you can physically move them? Like the rear hatch door lights?

I spoke with a Ford rep and they told me that if the item is on the window sticker (monroney) then the dealership I bought it from is obligated to install that item. I will update once I've spoken with them.
What kind of sucks about that is they will probably install them half-assed. By that I mean they will probably not change out the wiring to install them exactly like from the factory. I imagine they will just tap into another wire to get them to turn on so you will probably not be able to turn off, or they will have to install a separate aftermarket-type switch.

Will it work? Maybe., Is it ideal? Definitely not.

I haven't decided if I want them for that very possibility. I'm going to see if they'll negotiate for something I want and it won't involve any install on their part.

Boy, you two are a big, bright, cheery breath of fresh optimism! :rain:

I'm not a big fan of dealership service depts, but SOMETIMES they get things right. Let's hope they can figure this one out.

Ask if they can have the body shop install them. They won't butcher it up and if they do they know how to fix it.

For 2022 it’s the convenience package that needs to be added to get fog lights, heated seats, leather steering wheel, etc. would be the equivalent of the BB package for 2021. The OP’s BS doesn’t have that option.

But I agree, it’s listed as standard on the window sticker, he has an argument.

Edit to add: This must be another cost/chip cutting measure for 2022 but they didn’t bother to update the window stickers?
They also removed push button start as standard and moved it to the convenience package. I was really surprised at that one. I looked at a couple big bend window stickers from a local dealer. The ones without the convenience package also have the LED fog lamps listed, but it is indeed not a standard feature. Someone at Ford messed up. There's going to be more upset people if they notice.

I have no idea how involved the install is. That's what I want to find out. Depending on what they tell me will determine whether I'll have it done. Anyway, this isn't the dealerships fault.

Even then the OEM wiring harness for the fogs will not be there. If it's anything like adding the towing hitch/wire harness, the wiring will be missing well down the line not just by where the fogs would be.

Let me just add this. I am very happy with my BSBB. It has exceeded my expectations in all of its functions so far. In the first 5 days I've driven at night at the outset of a snow storm, and in snow covered streets with no problem. The 1.5L 3 has surprised me with its power. The GOAT modes perform as advertised. Fit and finish is excellent on my vehicle. I will be satisfied regardless of the outcome of this fog light situation.

They were supposed to move push button start and intelligence access on the BB to the convenience package. However it’s listed on every BB window sticker I’ve seen. And unlike the fogs, it actually comes with it.

My 22 BB doesn’t have convenience package but I have push button and intelligent access.

For them to do it right, they’d need to cut the bumper holes, add the fogs. Add the wiring harness, and change out the light dial inside to have the fog button. Not sure I’m willing to have all of that done.

But how does this effect things in the future? Won’t the VIN look up for resale purposes show fog lights? When they aren’t there will that raise questions to buyers in the future?
