I want one. ?? Anyone else? Maybe make it a bit more off-roadish than the BL. Give us removable doors or top? It would likely never happen but fun to think about.

Could they do enough based on a BL to make it a ā€˜real’ raptor? That branding is pretty much a license to print money for Ford, so I’m sure if they could figure out how to make the BL more off road oriented they’ll do it. The Raptor though for now seems limited to their ā€˜truck based’ platforms.

Why do you say that?

going to guess there are going to be better suspension built Bronco Sport at Sema.
Even if Ford doesn't do it the aftermarket will.

I doubt we'd ever get a BS Raptor, as cool as that would be. But I think something more feasible that I could see Ford do is an off road option package that includes different suspension and wheels, like a downsized version of the big Broncos Sasquatch package. Something that could be available on all trims, and maybe offer some of the Badlands 4x4 component's.

It'd just be nice imo to get a least a few of the things on the Badlands without having to step up to one.

They don’t have to go crazy and fit 37s and all that…

if they did a built up badlands and marketed it as the Bronco Sport raptor I’m sure it would get some sales. Little bit of a lift, off road wheels and all terrain tires standard, some upgraded shocks, better bash plates underneath, lockers, either a 2.3 motor they put into the ranger or make it a twin turbo 2.0. I bet it would sell like hot cakes… When I do a search of badlands in calfornia on cars.com there’s like 14 results

Well, here is my two cents: the top of the line Bronco Wildtrak starts at $49.4. The Bronco Raptor is clocking at nearly $69.9. We're talking a $20k MSRP increase. Even if Ford were to slash that and offer a Bronco Sport Raptor at $10k over a Badlands we're still talking almost $45k just to start.

What sense would that make when you can get the fullsize Bronco Badlands starting at $44.8, or for that extra $5k you CAN jump into the Wildtrak. Both of those would be far more capable than anything Ford can stuff into a BS Raptor for $10k over the MSRP of a Badlands.

Could I be wrong? Absolutely, but it just wouldn't make any sense.

I can see a Tremor package for the BS.
Small lift, 245's, shocks, stripe package, different hood or scoop, wheels. Maybe bumper(s) or off road lights. A full frontal skid plate would be nice.
Even that seems more reasonable. Maybe for the Badlands as a $3k-ish package.

I listen to a lot of music so I wouldn't want removable doors, but to each his own!

Yeah once the hype wears off I could see a trim above Badlands with more capability. But Raptor is extreme desert high speed racing big jumps ect and sport platform not fit for that

BS ST with the 2.3 and 6 speed would be my jam
I’m not sure on the dimensional differences exactly with the different bodies, but they do stuff the 2.3 into the Corsair, so in theory your idea should be totally possible.
