Ford Ranger,
Back in July 8th to Oct. 4th....Ford had an incentive Program #38150....if you ordered a 2022 BS during this time frame, Ford will give you "Retail Order Bonus Cash Certificate" of $1,000 to be applied towards your down payment. I don't know if this program was available in your area....ask your dealer to look up in their "DRIVE-Announcements" system: Announcement # FDCI-26056C12, Program # 38150.
Thank you! I didnt have the program or announcement number, that will help.

As far as I can tell there is no special ford financing on the 22 so far. These things are hotter than Hades; they don't need any help selling them.

I shopped around quite a bit and actually ended up changing banks over this. My bank was offering 2.7% on 60 mo. My credit card company offered me 2.4%. Local credit union offered me 1.6% if I switch my banking to them. Done. I have a preapproval set up and my vehicle is in transit to dealer. 1.6% is best I could do. I would have accepted 1.9% like you were offered as well, given what I've seen in my area.

I think later in the year Ford will have the best rate, but we aren't there yet and I'm buying now.

Edit:
I guess I could also mention that I have an immaculate credit score and my bank and CC were still coming at me around 2.5% so that kinda the market right now
A. What area?
B. What credit union
C. What score are your institutions considering immaculate for those rates?

I'm in WI. The credit union is part of our university system so open to students, faculty, and alum. My score is around 800

Thanks, best I've found so far in So Cal is 2.49% with our current CU lender. Hoping to happen upon something even less before my wifes sport gets here. I currently hover around 825

Here is Bank of America's auto finance rates for CA...it's a tad bit lower than your Credit Union but the rates may change by January 2022.
They will lock in the rate for 30 days when you apply for a loan.

I'm in Cleveland, Ohio. Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union is offering 1.74 if you have 30,000 deposited. Or 1.99 if you dont. I think they are looking for 750 and above. The second best is bank of America at 2.29.

I'd rather pay a quarter percent then ever do business with BofA ever again ?

Paying for my baby with trade in and cash….title all mine!!!!
Thats the best way!! We will have a good down payment, but we will have to finance. Luckily rates are good right now!
Back in 2019 when I ordered my Ranger, I was able to take advantage of an unusual financial situation. I was going to pay cash + trade for my Ranger but when I saw that CD and loan rates were very close, I opted to finance the purchase. The cash I was going to lay out was put in a 36 month CD at 2.6% and I had a loan lined up at 2.94%. I lucked out when the truck arrived, Ford was offering 0% for 60 months. So I am going to make a little over 4k on the deal.

Probably only a couple hundred over the life of the loan, anyway. I googled credit unions near me, and checked their websites for rates. I found a couple more with Christmas specials. I'm gonna call them next week and we will pick one. I'm hoping to get under 2%.

We had the 0.9% offer when we ordered back in May and the dealer said they would honor that (or whatever deal was better if current financing is better) whenever the BS/BL gets delivered. I’m hoping they don’t try to back out of that.

If you're affiliated with a UC or SoCal college, University Credit Union has 60 month loans as low as 1.74% if you auto pay from their checking account. (Select 'no' on the first question and see the list of colleges in the drop down.)

Ford Credit offered me 0.9% (!!) in April. Although I always have a preapproval ready, the dealer usually gives me the best rate from either the manufacturer's financing arm or partner banks.
I have been told from a couple people that the dealership just about always offers the best rates. My plan is to try Ford Credit when my BS comes in around March.

Yup I got that in my area when I ordered to get $1000 off my 2022
Same here. I saved a screenshot of the $1000 offer online just in case, but the guy who took my order assured me it would apply when it finally arrives.
