Hello,

I'm brand new to the site and just picked up 24 Bronco Sport Big Bend in blue with 30,000 miles on it. The car has been black "crud" (not sure what to call it) coming out of the right tailpipe. Picture attached, any ideas would be helpful. should I take it to the Dealer before warranty runs out? The car is running fine otherwise no issues.

Thanks in advance

If it's dry and powdery, then I'd guess carbon from incomplete combustion. Could be from a number of things like rich air-fuel mixtures (too much fuel/too little air), excessive oil consumption, poor quality fuel, frequent short trips, excessive idling, or faulty injectors.

Definitely have the dealer (or a trusted shop) look at it.

Oil? Gas? Water/condensation? Is it liquid or solid? More details needed
give it the old taste test

:cwl:

one of our local libraries submitted a work order direct quote. "the refrigerator is leaking a milky white liquid. Staff have removed all potential food items and the fridge persists to leak from the bottom. no other noted issues"
with this picture attached.

Would love to know what you find out! We have a 2021 with about 80,000 miles on it and I noticed the same in the last few months. Seems to be more prevalent on a cold startup while letting it idle.
