Much respect! Thanks for your service!!!
Well, I was contracting for the State Department at the time (2017-21) and lived on the Embassy compound, so not really what most would consider service. I retired from active duty in ‘98.

It would be interesting to see how they do in a wind tunnel smoke test
It gets pretty solid reviews here and over on Reddit. The main complaint is the hood shake associated with installation… people on here have installed a piece of 1/4 fuel line in the gasket, which, I did, and I cut it back an inch on each end so it’s not noticeable.

Will report back once I drive it on the highway. 🤣

conundrum
outdoor parking
windshield wiper well is a leaf/snow deposit storage compartment
solution
pool noodle
sorry no pic
nice snug fit between windshield and edge of hood
day-glo color to prevent drive off with noodle in place
will let you know if it gets a pass or fail
several snow and one ice event
noodle gets a pass
observations
passenger side wiper is slightly raised in wiper well
preventing nice even flat fit

foam noodle is trimable
may address proper fit in warmer weather

Bad age around "the kids" these days. 6-7! Still don't know what it's supposed to mean if anything, and still don't care.

Than again, I still get ribbed about my age, 69.

After measuring ten times, test fitting, and some hope and prayers, I finally finished trimming the monster-sized Rhino Rack platform down to the size I wanted. I had to do around a dozen cuts, and drill around the same amount of new holes....lol

Once the width was trimmed, I had to shift the right 2 slats to the right a bolt hole and drill
new holes in the crossbar supports. The final dimensions wound up being 53"x72" @55lbs.

After ordering the regular sized Batwing I became paranoid that it has going to be too big
for the Bronco Sport, but it looks smaller on the Bronco than it did boxed up on the garage
floor.

I tried deploying the Batwing, but needed another hand or two to hold the poles in place as they were not driveway stable. The rack will stay on, but the Batwing will be mounted only when I plan
on using it.

Jeeze… and here I feel old, I’m turning 40 in three weeks. 😝😝😝
It’ll come sooner and faster than you think. Once you have more than five doctor’s appointments per month, you’ll know.
