Went for a little ride on the highway today to visit my Mum and Dad at the cemetery where they are interred. Beautiful day for a drive, but our recent lack of rain is really doing a number on the grass everywhere.

I’m really liking the Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 235/55ZR18 tires I mounted in the spring. My Bronco Sport feels very sharp in the handling and steering response and tracks really nicely on the highway. And really feels sticky when cornering.

I have a strut tower brace on order (fits the Maverick and Bronco Sport) which should make the handling even nicer.

I'm really liking those wheels on your BS. Let us all know how that strut tower brace adds to the handling of your Big Bend. I'd be interested in adding one to mine.

I will. But in fairness I got the idea from someone else on this board who had already done it. Unfortunately I can't recall what thread it was in and who recommended it.

Also thanks about the wheels. Yeah, I find them distinctive from a lot of other wheels I usually see on Bronco Sports. Most of the BS in my area have the standard factory wheels, but I wanted something a bit different. Also these are wheels one might not associate with off-roading which is fine because I didn't buy my BS for off-roading.

I have the steeda strut tower bar and didn’t really notice much change but i like the thought of having it to stiffen up the front end.
Wherever I read it I was under the impression the poster appreciated the difference the brace made. Mind you I don't the present handling bad, so in reality it might nor make that much difference. And it's not like we're throwing the vehicles around like a sports car.
