I am being offered lower rate lower payments says salesman. I can trade in my '23 with 20,300 km, and get better finance rates (0 or 1.99%), and without the SAS package have payments potentially be lower. I could get the SAS package and hopefully be the same. I am just wondering if I could get 15,ooo for my vehicle (39000 trade in - with the 10,000 I originally put down and about 22,000 in payments). Does 15,000 sound logical for a net trade in value?

Should a little on the low ball side to me. With the way the market is currently, dealers are hot for quality used vehicles and you seeing resale value go up significantly. with the mileage on your vehicle, I would expect mid 20's or higher.

Without knowing anything other than you've got a '23 Badlands and not knowing its condition, etc., CAD$39,000 is a good number.

So, what do you still owe on your '23? What's the dealer's asking price for the new one? Those are your two main concerns.

The net trade in value is what the dealer will give you minus what you owe. Whether you think CAD$15,000 is a good number, only you can make that decision.

That seems very low. We just bought a 2023 ,last week and did a lot of research on All SUV's (3 months). Bronco Sports are selling for between $29,000 -$33,000 right now with kilometre of between 35,000 and 65,000.
