Hi there, I'm picking up my 2025 Bronco Sport Outer Banks tomorrow from the dealer and wanted to connect with the community around advice on anything I should *do immediately* or be aware of as a new owner. Any posts to read or other research you recommend?

I was a member of the Jeep Commander forum and found the community super helpful and look forward to being part of this community.

Thank you!

First thing? Read. The. Owners. Manual. :D

More to your point, though, it really depends on your planned usage, type of driving you do (city/country, street/trail, etc.). Do you wrench it yourself or take it to the dealer for all your work? Are you more focused on functionality or looks? Do you prefer more “fun” things or those that make your use more convenient?

It’s such a personal thing that it’s hard to provide a definitive answer. I’d say don’t change anything until you have it for a while and learn what annoys you, what you kind of like but see room for improvement, and what you love and would regret changing in the future.

Don’t worry about what others have done and get too excited about bling that doesn’t really enhance your enjoyment, but once you find a mod or upgrade you’ve decided on, there’s usually someone here that’s already done it and can provide great advice.

All in all, probably the same advice you’d give someone new to the Jeep forums. :)

I agree with jkernitzki...get familiar with the features of your Outer Banks model by reading through the owners manual. Lots of questions here on the forum are easily answered from this manual.

I have a 2023 Outer banks, and there are countless features and gizmos on this model.

Refrain from doing any serious mods while its under warranty. Make sure any you do don't void parts of the warranty, as parts and repairs on these Bronco Sports can be expensive if the warranty is voided, plus it can take days to get a warranty part or scheduled appointment.

You will be happy with the Outer Banks.

Ask for an owners manual, my 2025 Big Bend didn’t come with a manual or a spare tire

The manual is electronic and available in the infotainment system. You can also download a PDF from Ford.

I have heard many folks mention no spare tire. How do we know if it that's a standard feature?

Mine is a 2025 big bend, comes with a small sealant and compressor . Before buying check the spare compartment.I believe the OB comes with a spare

Got my 2025 OB 2 weeks ago no spare, just sealent and compressor. Bought a plug kit cause sealant can destroy your tpms.

As mentioned reading the manual is 100% the right move, but I'd say try and get it off-road as soon as you can! Even if you don't plan on regularly off-roading your Bronco, knowing some of its off-road capabilities (nothing major even) will really help you feel comfortable behind the wheel.

I didn't do any off-roading for almost two years after I got my Bronco (mall crawler), and it totally changed my opinion on it, for the better!

So this is all I see under the floor of our 25 Heritage. Not even a jack? I guess I'm old school, I think I'm going to chase down a spare for the tire well. Or should I approach this differently?

Your inclination to purchase a spare tire is the best option… there are several posts on this topic including the hold down bolt that also is needed … should be easy to find those posts by searching

If the dealer sales person is decent they should go over most of the Sports features with you before you drive off, also check the tire pressure, lots of dealers do not check the pressure during PDI and its usually set way too high, My sales person did that as well as help connect my phone and setup my Ford pass account.
As others have mentioned, at least look through the owners manual, a number of people continually ask questions here that are answered in the owners manual.

If there is anything missing, make sure to get a "due bill"

Above all enjoy your new ride!
