Anyone got some? ;)

Just wondering if any members have driven the models back to back and could describe any discernible differences to the driving experience?

Not a lot of the Sasquatch model examples in my area so would be interested to know if it's worth my while going looking for one to consider?

Hi,

Unfortunately, I can't exactly answer your question as originally asked, but i can tell you that there is an absolutely discernible difference between the '25 OBx and the '25 Badlands 'squatch. I had the former for 6 weeks and decided that life is too short and traded it in for the latter on Friday, and boy am I glad that I did. The 'squatch is a far superior ride. Much smoother.

I'd say a lot comes down to how much off-roading you plan to do. And I mean more than a flat dirt road. If they answer is none, than don't bother with the sasquatch trim. If the answer is a decent amount then absolutely go for it.

I have a '23 Badlands and I would be very disappointed if I had chosen a BB or OBX over it.

We're in the fortunate position to be able to choose the spec independent of extra cost, so it really comes down to drive and ride.
Happy for the extra capability off road if it also accompanies better driving dynamics (some online reviews suggest the revised dampers in Hoss 3 format actually improve the overall driving experience), but would not sacrifice those same driving dynamics for the sake of extra capability.......if that makes sense.

We live in Southern Cal and make semi regular trips up into the San Bernadino mountains when there's snow on the ground, explore various trails and hikes of the Coachella Valley, pass through the deserts to hit Vegas, visit the National Parks of Utah (Canyonlands our fave), and want to do plenty more in other locales as retirement age arrives and opportunities grow.

Thanks to everyone and anyone who shares their opinion.☺?

Hi, is been two days since I picked up the Ford Bronco Sport BandLands with Sasquatch 2025. I used to have Ford Bronco Sport Outer Bank 2022 and definitely is a better in all sense. The ride, the engine response and all the electronics that it brings now is another ride. I loved so far. Here few pictures;

I think that bull bar is ugly and doesnt serve a purpose but add more weight thats just my opinion.
Its hard to get actual specs on any suspension differences from the BL other than the tires.
Anyone got some? ;)

That article is over a year old, before a single production unit was shipped, and much of that info is based on assumptions or outdated press kits. It overlooks the most significant changes in the Sasquatch Package which were not completely published in August 2024. The writer is also looking at differences best measured in millimeters, and not many of them.

  • The Goodyear tire is 29.03". The Falken referenced is 29.1", a whole 0.07" (1.8mm) inches greater. 10,000 miles of driving burns off more rubber than that.
  • The horsepower is the same, the torque ratings are slightly improved from prior years. The 2.0 is 250 hp/280 lb. ft.
  • The advertised clearance is down by 0.1" (2.5mm). If that's going to make or break someone's day off road, they were too close to their limits in the first place.

However, the Badlands Sasquatch does get things not available in prior years or trims (and not addressed in the article):
  • HOSS 3.0 suspension
  • Extra GOAT modes
  • Fuller underbody protection
  • Four recovery points
  • Upgraded cooling
  • Fender tiedowns
  • Increased tow capacity to 2700 lbs.

As far as the brush guard, it's totally removable without impacting the front recovery points. As far as weight, I haven't pulled mine off to weigh it, but that and the steel bumper cladding together are estimated at 35-45 pounds. My front axle was scaled at 2340 pounds, so the weight cost is negligible.
