According to recent information, the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport features significantly improved noise dampening compared to previous models, with added sound insulation throughout the cabin to reduce road noise, particularly at highway speeds; this is considered one of the key updates for the 2025 model year, allowing for a quieter ride experience.

Key points about the 2025 Bronco Sport noise dampening:
  • Increased insulation:
Ford has added more sound insulation materials throughout the cabin, including in the doors, floor, and firewall, to better absorb road noise.

  • Improved windshield acoustics:
The windshield is also designed to be more acoustically efficient, further contributing to a quieter cabin.

  • Upgraded sound system:
To complement the improved sound insulation, the 2025 Bronco Sport may come with an upgraded Bang & Olufsen sound system with more speakers for a better audio experience.

  • Overall quieter ride:
This enhanced noise dampening is expected to provide a noticeably quieter driving experience, especially on highways.

Can you post where you got your information?

I looked at the 24 and 25 order guides and the information in the guides were the same regarding sound deadening and insulation. Under standard Big Ben Interior/Comfor it mentions Additional Sound Deadening. The word insulation is not even used in the order guides until you get to Badlands Trim Standard Equipment under Functional where the first line states "Interior Noise Insulation". In either case there is no additional description regarding what those terms mean.

According to Fordparts.com the standard front door glass specifies that it fits Bronco Sport 2021 - 2025. ford-glass-door-left-front-p-m1pz7821411c

The laminated front door glass for Bronco Sport specifies that it fits Bronco Sport 2021 - 2024.

Maybe someone with a 25 Badlands or any other trim can confirm that their model came with the laminated glass. If not, maybe it was a deleted item for 25.

Where the heck is this information coming from?!? I tried to find it and failed miserably….absolutely nothing like this in the Ford’s official info I found.

Link please!

Update: I test drove a 25 sport badlands tonight. It was raining and unfortunately I did not get on the interstate. I do think it was quieter, could in part be to not having a moonroof, which my 22 has. Another thing I noticed, they piped in a lot more fake engine sound through the speakers, even when not in sport mode.

I'm tempted to order a 2025 but want to confirm that the 2025 is quieter than the previous years. I do understand I am technically driving a brick down the highway, but I did read that there are some improvements to sound insulation. Has anyone made this move and noticed a change? Would be nice to NOT have my mother bitch about how loud my car is while we are on the phone.
I was going to say to test drive one, but I see from you other response to your post that you did.

So what you have to ask yourself is, would it be worth purchasing the new one?

Thank you for the link. I followed the link and scrolled through the entire article and could not find your comments with the exception of the Noise Reduction Module in the Badlands Tech Package. Did some of the comments come from another source?

I went back to the order guide for 25 and the Noise Reduction Module is listed under Major Product Changes as part of the Tech Package that is new for 25. This does not necessarily mean that everything in the Tech package is new. It just means that the Tech Package is new for 2025. I did not find the Noise Reduction Module listed in the 24 Order Guide which doesn't automatically mean it is not there. I have heard of cabin noise being reduced through noise cancelling through the speakers.

I then searched "does 2024 bronco sport have a noise reduction module". My first few searches said yes, it is part of the Tech Package under the AI overview. I knew that wasn't right. There is no Tech Package in the 24 or prior model year. Then in subsequent searches the AI overview that pops up at the top of the search page said no the 24 Badlands does not have a Noise Reduction Module but the 25 model year does. So AI overview's are unreliable and can not be trusted to be accurate without verification. So far I cannot verify from a trusted source that the prior year models have the Noise Reduction Module.

I'm leaning towards staying in the 22 for now. The interest rates and incentives are just not that great and I work in science research . . . which isn't exactly safe right now. I figure this time next year any new 25's will be cheap with lots of incentives and I'll have more equity in mine. . . and hopefully my research funding is safe again. But, if someone had unlimited resources the 25 is so nice . . . the infotainment center is so much better and who doesn't love wireless carplay/android auto?

You can easily add a wireless adapter to your 2022. I would hate to have to plug in every time. I have the Carlinkit 5 but there are many others to choose from.

I do have a Motorola one and it glitches and disconnects and reconnects once in a while, but I'd prefer that over constantly plugging it in. If only the Ford Navigation wouldn't be so crappy. ?
