It's a process. if they buy it back, they'll pay you back for your payments and downpayment. They offer a crappy $1500 towards a new ford and you sign over the car. After that, do whatever you want. I was going to go Toyota also but because of my hassles a different Ford dealer offered me a sick deal on the Sport Badlands so I did it. I wasn't getting another Ford if it wasn't cheap. And now I know what to do if the problem doesn't get fixed (and so will you!) This badlands was recommended to me by service as the least problematic of them all, so....

Saw that parts were replaced within the transmission but wanted to give my 2cents as a tuned badlands driver. Even made a new account for this.
One thing ive noticed with my accessport is i measure transmission temps.
The transmission seems to get "sticky" or trys to "bump" as it tries to get into gear especially if your driving super slow( you may even notice when getting to 2k rpms where the car likes to shift between 3-5 that the RPM gauge also buckles and you feel it in the pedal untill it finally gets into gear)
Once the trans is above 100Degrees F it doesnt do that lurching between the gears so now i have gained a habit of waiting till am over 100 before setting off.
My best guess is without adequate temp the trans fluid isnt viscous enough for thoses shifts

That makes sense. Can you tell me more about the ‘accessport’? What is that?

Described my issue as lurching and they were able to reproduce this in the shop.
I have had this happen twice in last three month. Again this morning. Driving at speed with cruise on. Then slowing to 20 or so, the BS BL started violently shaking. Pulled over and turned off. turned back on and kept to lower speed and went ok.

The last time, it behaved well for months and now this again. It makes me nervous.

2021 BS Badlands with 38000.

has anyone sussed out what’s happening? Or learned what to tell the dealer?

Brand new 2024 Bronco Sport Badlands - bucking at low speeds. The whole car randomly shakes. Also very slow start in the morning or after parked for a while. Does anyone know what this bucking is?
Did you ever get your issue addressed by the dealer?

Please share with us.

I have a 2yo Badlands and notice that in the morning, when it's chilly out it doesn't shift as smoothly. I typically leave it in normal mode and then once I start getting some bars on the engine temp change it to eco mode. If I try to do eco mode from an overnight cold start it is even rougher.
