Hi all. 22 stock Big Bend with 26K. I noticed that I cannot make changes in the sub-menu "driver assist", it is frozen on this screen. All other menus on the dash display work fine. Is there a way to reset this or do I have to pull off the battery cable to see if that fixes it? Thanks!

I would try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a few minutes and re connecting.

There's too many electronics in new cars. If not that might be something with steering wheel controls. Sometimes in my work truck 2020 f350 randomly the volume button will change the mode. Seems to only happen on really cold mornings

A little off topic, but It doesn't seem like there is a sticky on this forum for just sync specific procedures.

I myself am nearly completely ignorant with computers. Give me a hammer to swing, something to plumb, or some concrete to pour I got you. I was able to figure out forscan, but computers are not my thing.

I know there are lots of seperate threads about sync updates and issues. But It would be beneficial for one thread that details procedure for things like

- checking your sync revision
- how to update
- why to update
Etc. Just throwing that out there. I myself have no idea what version I have on our sport. And am almost scared to update since I am not having issues with the current.

To find your Sync 3.4 Build Version (do not scan for updates):

Select SETTINGS tab, then
Select GENERAL tab, then
Select ABOUT SYNC tab

It will show the Build Version (latest is 23188 Product).

First step is to manually update to the latest Sync software:

SYNC 3, Software Version: 3.4 Build 23188 PRODUCT (or later version if available)

Follow Fords instructions at this link to download to your own USB Device then install Sync in your vehicle.

https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/

A direct link to the PDF instructions is here: https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/sync-map-download.12742/post-211555

iPhone specific section:
make sure your iPhone is on the latest IOS.

You can also try deleting your iPhone off of Sync using Settings on the 8” Display, remove the vehicle from the iPhones Settings (Settings -> CarPlay), then add your iPhone back to Sync and re-set up CarPlay.

Did you get the update?

Is the issue taken care of?

I updated to the latest software (23188) but that screen remains the same. Maybe it supposed to be that way?

I may be out-to-lunch with what you are asking, so ignore this if true!;)
On my 22 BB, that is the screen I get when "Lane-Keeping Assist" is OFF (you turn it ON and OFF via the button on the end of the turn signal stalk). When it is ON (and meeting the conditions specified in the Owner's Manual), I will see the lane lines in various colors depending on what the camera sees as "lanes". There's nothing to change via the menu button on the right side of the steering wheel (hence nothing happening when pressed). The items that you can change in LKA are found under Settings > Driver Assistance > Lane-Keeping System where you can set the mode to Alert Only, Aid Only, or Alert+Aid. You can also set the Sensitivity. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Thanks, yeah I figured this may be the case since I did figure out the settings to change sensor sensitivities and such is on the main Sync screen and not the dash display menu.
