So both the hatch gimble lights are out on my badlands. I'm also having some washer fluid leakage somewhere in the rear so it's possible it's related.

Anyway, I wanted to confirm it was a blown fuse on the two lights, but I couldn't figure out which fuse was correct.

Fuse 57 is called "flood light", this is my best guess, does anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks

I believe the label is plural; "Flood Lights." That would appear to be the most likely candidate. Shouldn't be that difficult to pull it out and check.

Hey Mark,

Yea i ended up just giving it a go. I didn't want to bother without a spare fuse on hand but there was an extra 5A fuse in there so I switched them out and the lights came on.

So for future reference to anyone reading. "Flood lights" are the hatch gimble lights.

Now I need to sort the washer fluid leak cause I imagine I'll blow the fuse again otherwise

Thanks for the input!

Old thread, I know.
A little while back, my hatch lights weren't working.
Reason: Low battery voltage!
My car hadn't been driven in about 5 days and was in sleep mode to preserve the battery.

You absolutely could be correct,

My battery just failed a few weeks back so this could be very likely!
The fuse i took out did not look broken, so maybe Ill test the fuse to verify!

Thanks for the thought!

Just some follow-up info. This happened to me last spring. To resolve it, I put the battery on a trickle charger, and the hatch lights were working again the next time I went for a drive. The lights did not work even coming out of sleep mode.
I actually took the car into the dealer to have the battery load tested, since I was aware that a number of people here on the forum had reported battery problems and had gotten replacements under warranty. My battery load tested ok. Now, especially during the cold weather, I keep the battery on a trickle charger when in my garage at home. My car is just a year old, and it has gone into sleep mode a couple times when not driven for a few days. I can't imagine leaving my car in an airport parking lot for a week while traveling, without having a jumper battery or making a call to AAA or Ford road side service for a jump, if the sleep mode is inadequate.

You might re-assess that now … given that you had Recall 24S24 BCM/PCM Programming completed and have a ‘not that old of an’ AGM Battery, the battery reserve capacity spec (120 minutes) would tell you that the Bronco Sport can easily be left in an airport parking lot for more than a week. That assumes of course when the Bronco Sport was left parked the battery was pretty much at full charge from the drive to the airport.

I've had it go into sleep mode even after the 24S24 recall was completed. These computers on wheels are battery suckers. A retired relative of mine has a 22 Toyota Camry, and it goes dead in a week of not driving.
