Have you tried their air tag trackers yet?
not a big fan of the Apple air tags.

I lost one at work. I was within 15 feet of it, but it never directed me to the location.

Eventually the tag ended up 30 miles away. Never could find where the tag was in the two days I searched for it. All I got was ‘tag is nearby’.

Well, this certainly is a thread revival.

I documented my experience of getting a "lockout" metal key cut in this other thread.

I would not recommend traveling without a lockout key ever. If your battery is dead and you cannot start your vehicle, your locksmith either has to try to shim the window to trigger the unlock, or you smash a window. Having a lockout key is generally cheaper than either option - you can unlock your vehicle, pop the hood, and then either jump your vehicle, replace the battery, or have it towed more cheaply.

Asking at this point in the BS' lifespan is unlikely to attract answers that it was required. I didn't require it in my fusion, but I *almost* did. (Batteries suffer as much in the cold as the heat; that's why CCAs are cold cranking amps, the batteries perform better warmer up to a point. Waiting for the battery to warm up on a winter day allowed me to pop the hood and ultimately charge it with a wall charger.)

My Bronco Sport keys have metal keys included in them. Pull off the bottom and there it is.

The lockout metal keys that come in the fobs that were provided with your vehicle at time of sale will be pre-cut.

The issue becomes if you replace keyfobs that are lost, or add additional intelligent access fobs yourself (can do without a locksmith if you have two already programmed fobs to add 1-2 additional keyfobs), these will generally come with blank uncut lockout keys, You definitely want to get these lockout keys cut to be able to be used with your vehicle.

Yes of course. I posted that for the benefit of newbie BS owners of new and used vehicles.
Thanks for posting the additional details for their benefit.
