Hiccup type sound letting of accelerator

Hello all,

I have a '22 Outerbanks with the 1.5L. I have an issue where there is a noise that sounds like a hiccup when letting of the accelerator for turning around a corner (more prominent turning left). It will also do it in straight line when letting off the accelerator for slowing down.

I've only been able to find the squeak of the parking cable when doing a search here.

To me it seems like it may be an engine mount bushing squeaking with the shift in engine load. I have an appointment on Monday at my dealer but wanted to see if anyone has seen this before I bring it in.

Did you check around the floor to see if floor mat could be the cause

No aamyotte , never have heard this noise. Perhaps it’s coming from where the accelerator pedal is attached to the firewall inside the vehicle.

A sticky turbo blow-off valve will make that kind of noise. I did find that out by not connecting a blow-off back on once after replacing a turbo....that sound drove me nutz!
