Yes it does, do you have questions?Does the '24 Badlands have a PTU unit?
I have dealt with Ford's PTU's in Edge's and Explorers that I've owned. In those models, I would do a drain/fill every 30k as they had little fluid in them and sat right next to the cat converter and just baked to death. I assume it's a similar situation on this platform?Yes it does, do you have questions?
The PTU in your Badlands is liquid cooled.I have dealt with Ford's PTU's in Edge's and Explorers that I've owned. When I had bash plate off mine to change oil it looks like Badlands PTU fluid is integrated with transmission fluid. It looked like trans and PTU fluid circulated through both PTU and trans. Looked like PTU used trans fluid and trans cooler to get its cooling feature. Note mine has towing package so that might make a difference in fluid line routing etc.I have dealt with Ford's PTU's in Edge's and Explorers that I've owned. Have you been able to locate this video? The Badlands has the 2.0L engine with the liquid cooled PTU which is different than the PTU paired with the 1.5L engine. Does anyone have a link to a video showing a fluid change specific to the Badlands PTU?
No, I haven't seen a video specifically for the Badlands as of yet.Have you been able to locate this video?
