  1. Wiring question - mute wire on radio

Does anyone know what wire controls the mute function on the radio? Where can I, EASILY, tap into it? Not looking to pull the dash apart/radio out. I am hopeful there is a wire that runs from the steering wheel area to the radio and I can intercept it along the way. Or, another easily...
  2. Firewall grommet - part number

I was working with the large grommet, below the battery, on the firewall - fat fingers dropped it and it's lost in the abys that's the engine. Searched for 30min. and gave up. It's the removeable grommet about 4" tall and probably 3" wide. Pops right out and allows for each access to run...
  3. 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Thumping/Flapping noise

2024 badlands. Started the day I picked it up. Very annoying. Took it to the dealer and they gave me the run around on the service notice - even though it clearly says 2021-2023 and mine is a 2024. I pulled the vents on both sides and added doubled sided foam tape to the flaps. It adds...
  4. 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Thumping/Flapping noise

My 2024, with 1,500 miles, does this - exactly. Dealer gave me the same answer. Do you have any additional photos of how you accessed this flap?
  5. Rear panel removal...

I have a 2024 Badlands and I am trying to get access to the factory sub so that I can tap into the wiring to wire in a larger sub and amp. Does anyone know if the entire panel needs to come off? If so, does anything have tips on how? If not, can you just remove the panel where the sub is...

Do you have the specific part number for the vibrant muffler off of Amazon? Thank you!!
  7. Radar Detector Install - power from rear view mirror

  9. Installing aftermarket speakers and sub in Bronco Sport!

I have a 2024 with the B&O system. About to add an amp and sub. Where should I tap into for signal? Color of wires and location? Which is + and which is - ?Thanks?
  10. Water pump failure

It's not my vehicle. It's a buddies. It's a 2021 with the 1.5T. He has 65k on it and it went into limp mode and flashed several warnings on the app on his phone. Most was low coolant and then an underboost condition, which came from the coolant being low - engine protecting itself...
  11. Water pump failure

Local shop was $600. Ford was $1,100 and magically came down when that quote was shared…?

  14. 3rd party extended warranty...?

Whoops! :) Sorry about that, man. Do appreciate the help!
  15. 3rd party extended warranty...?

Excellent - was not aware. Thank YOU!
  16. 3rd party extended warranty...?

I agree! The problem is, you cannot purchase a Ford warranty outside of 36,000 miles. As I mentioned, he has 55,000 miles on the vehicle, so he sort of stuck with a third-party warranty or nothing.
  17. 3rd party extended warranty...?

I have a buddy that has a 2021 with 55,000 miles. So, the FORD extended warranty isn't an option. What's a good third party warranty that he can consider that will actually pay vs. harass the dealer about work that needs to be done? He's most concerned with coverage on the motor, tranny and...
  18. Exhaust options...?

I like this a LOT! Can you send me a list of parts and the costs? Thanks!
  19. Exhaust options...?

I am about to receive my 2024 Badlands with the 2.0. I don't like the way the exhaust looks. I'd prefer to have the exhaust tips finish level coming out from under the bumper - not pointing down. The photo, below, is from AFE's exhaust, which shows what I would like to do. I don't really...
