cornering lights are gone for 2024 modelsI researched extensively before the pulling the trigger on my used ,'21 Big Bend. Three things still surprised me. A couple I really like!
1. FordPass Connect. That didn't come up in reviews. I love being able to schedule engine starts in the winter to warm up the vehicle or start it with the app whenever I want. My car is usually not parked close enough to me for the usual remote starting to work. The other features of the app are cool too.
2. The fog lights become cornering lamps at night. Doesn't make a huge difference for me, but I can see where this would be great for someone living on a remote dark country road.
3. The turning radius is super tight. Makes manuevering and parking a breeze in tight spaces. My favorite feature is how nimble the Bronco Sport feels as a result.
This right here. I love being able to remote start in winter. My wife just got a new chevy trailblazer and they only offer remote start for the first 3 years, then you have to pay each month after that. Thought it would've been free like Ford's lol.was surprised that ford includes app for remote start etc with no extra charge while other brands have annual costs
My badlands 21 doesn’t have that memory seatThe driver's seat moving back and up on startup and shut down. I love that feature.
that’s something I’m discovering reading other car forums. Just how much you get for tech standard on the Ford which others charge extra for, or as someone pointed out with the app you need a subscription. Or other cars lack these features entirely. You pay all this money for these cache brands and don't get a lot of the basic amenities that many mainstream automakers either standardize or option out at a much affordable rate.
Yes! The turning radius is another amazing thing. It rivals or bests my good ol' 2005 Honda Civic. So much better than the Subaru Forester.I researched extensively before the pulling the trigger on my used ,'21 Big Bend. Three things still surprised me. A couple I really like!

Did your jack and handle look like this? There’s been a lot of posts about the OEM jack and handle… I haven’t seen beefy used before.…the jack is actually pretty nice - it is a solid scissor jack with a really well designed (beefy) handle that has several joints in it - allowing a much faster raising or lowering of the jack. This handle doubles as the lug nut wrench and has a decent length to it.
Just one question: did your helper have to say "fudge?" BTW, Old Man Parker thought he could do it in FOUR minutes.I was back on the highway in less than 5 minutes.
I wish I had the "one touch up and down" windows in my BS 2023 Heritage; was surprised when I found out it didn't come with it. So used to my husband's Subaru Outback and ease of window use. That every window in my Badlands is one touch up and down. Even the back ones.
