I know there have been several threads but here is a bit of proof.

Its a load of crap that we buy the most expensive BS with all the packages and ford deletes features. My 21 OB had Wi-Fi but my 24 BL does not. I get the chip shortage during the pandemic, but it is over. I work in the automation world were chips are used in PLC, Boards and almost everything. I know this for a fact. Ford is just trying to save money.... Mine show it has a modem with a serial number, it has Ford Pass Connect because I can start it with my cell phone which means it users cell phone bandas thuis it should have Wi-Fi. It is completely deceptive especially when its stated in the specsa and when you even look on dealer websites, it's in the description on the BS.
Whether or not I use it doesn't matter- It is what I paid for and I should have it.
Screen shots show Ford and AT&T confirming it has it but when you go to the next step to activate trial it says you don't have it and to call FORD. Ford has been not help. It has been nothing short of deceptive practices. @Ford . If ford or AT&T is watching this thread please help us out. I have been a loyal customer and this is my second Bronco Sport.:thumbsdown: No credit was given- they should replace or put ion feature complimentary. es I have called you Ford and AT&T. You both have been no help.

When I bought our 2023 OB, it indicated a credit on the window sticker for the feature.

I also got no credit for the missing Wi-Fi hotspot.

But having lived with my Badlands for a year now, the most annoying "supply chain" omissions would have to be the rear camera washer and the temp displays on the knobs in the cabin.

I agree with you that not being able to enable AT&T Hotspot could be considered deceptive given that you stated “(AT&T 4G LTE WiFi Hotspot) is stated in the specs and when you look on dealer websites” however Ford also states specs are subject to change.

Ford deleted the AT&T 4G LTE WiFi Hotspot in the 2022 timeframe for certain vehicles according to this article:
https://fordauthority.com/2022/07/some-ford-suvs-pickups-to-drop-4g-lte-wi-fi-hotspot-feature/

Does your ‘24 Badlands Window Sticker show the following:
  • FORDPASS™ CONNECT 4GWI-FI HOTSPOT TELEMATICS MODEM
If so then you would have a valid argument that your ‘24 should have the feature as does your ‘21.

Btw you stated your ‘24 has “a modem with a serial number, has FordPass Connect because you can start it with your cell phone which means it uses cell phone thus it should have (AT&T Hotspot Wi-Fi)” but that’s not a correct statement.

AT&T 4G LTE WiFi Hotspot used a separate modem unrelated to the modem used for FordPass Connect. When Ford deleted the AT&T 4G LTE WiFi Hotspot modem, there was no impact to FordPass Connect. See this article for more information:

True- The temp display on knob deletion makes it look cheaper and not top of the line.

Your getting very technical and sounding like a Ford employee trying to find excuses to get ourt of it and saying "Reed the fine print" Maybe you missed the screenshot of it stating it has 4G Wi-Fi. If Ford deleted it then why doers it state it on both websites. "Subject to change" obviously doers not apply to them changing the websites. I've read those articles before, and I know the situation. It doesn't mean they are not deceiving us when they only put out an article in Ford Authority and not officially on their website or informing the dealers.

My window sticker showed a credit but my dealer "told" me when i drove it off the lot that they would contact me when the chip was in stock and they could install it. That was 11/11/2022.... never heard from them again.

Wait... there is supposed to be a digital read out on model with the automatic climate control feature? If I'm looking at the digital owners manual that would be all models but a base with all manual controls....

Yep! I believe that feature started disappearing during the 2022 model year. I use CarPlay a lot and it's annoying to have to turn the knob just to see the temperature setting.

A promise the dealership could not keep (without much effort).

“Vehicles that are built with the deletion option won’t be eligible to be retrofitted in the future” is stated here:
