My 2023 Badlands came with rubber floors and carpet floor mats. I get pretty dirty out there and can't Imagine why on an outdoor style vehicle there would be carpet floor mats. I clean them and the next day they are grubby.

Any one know if the snap in rubber floor mats from Ford fit in the Badlands snap locations? I think they are made for all the other trim levels with carpeted floors.

I'm referring to these:

I also have a Badlands with the rubber floors and carpeted mats. If I'm going to do sloppy off road driving (mud) I take out the carpeted mats so they do not get packed with dirt.

For me I wouldnt choose the Ford liners, I just dont like all the horsey logo stuff, why cant they just be plain.

Smartliners would be a good idea as they look like they would contain whatever was tracked in and then you could just dump them out and hose them off, plus they arent very expensive.

I ordered the Ford mats for the floors and rear when I ordered my BS BL in August 2020. Perfect fit

We have them. We love them.

I second @Jmuns two comments (yes, they snap in. Make sure you buy the correct version).

I had Weather Tech mats in my Jeep. They were perfect. You could climb in with 3 lbs. of snow or mud on your boots and they would hold the water and keep it contained. I got Tux mats for my BS, and they work fine, but I liked the Weather Techs better.

The biggest downside IMO to the Ford mats are that the other liners provide higher and more coverage under the gas pedal and are also a one piece mat in the back. The Ford mats are 2 piece. This can go either way though. If you track a ton of mud/dirt/snow/sand etc into the back seat then its nice pulling one side or the other out the closest door without spilling it inside the BS. The one piece mat all has to come out one side. But, it you spill a drink down the seam between the mats you have a mess under the mats.

That's the way I thought about it when purchasing, but in the end I liked the BS badging on the mats and went that way.

The Ford mats are nice, but I went for max coverage with the Tuxmats and no regrets. Yes the BL has rubberized flooring for easy cleaning, I'd rather remove the mats and hose/brush them off than deal with the mess within the vehicle...
