These appear to be the Archaic LED Bronco Sport tail Lights if not a similar other brand. This page shows videos of the actual installed lights and their effects, unfortunately the pictures on the page are photoshopped or rendered instead of installed pictures for some reason

My opinion was not to find fault, but only to point out that dark or tinted tail or head lights will get the attention of a law enforcement officer. If your county is like the one I live and drive in, then you most likely would not get pulled and possibly ticketed, as they have more to be concerned about then looking for non compliant auto modifications.

UPDATE: In seeing them in operation as post#20 shows, they are fine, and can be clearly seen.

I have the same lights. I think they look really good black on black. They are pretty bright despite the smoke layer.

I could never understand why people would want tinted headlight, taillight, & fog light lenses. The whole point IMHO is for them to be as bright as possible so others can see you.

I think Ford did a good job on the lights overall. There isn't much I would change about them.

Doubtful in this case that this would be deemed illegal. They are bright indeed.

Personally not a fan, but if you like them, that's all that matters. Like others, I am not a fan of blacked-out lights in general, but my larger concern is the shape. Having those extended portions look to me like they might be vulnerable to damage from limbs, etc. if you actually get off the pavement very often.
