I have the deflector and have seen these reports but haven't noticed a problem, did 95 mph once just too see, had minimal vibration (95 is not a typo)

I live in Texas, the speed limits here (north Texas DFW area) range between 60 and 75 for highwayAlso to those saying drive slower than 75 or 80...I believe both Texas and Montana have speed limits of 80-85...which generally means 90 here in TX
Lol 70yo and 110 cars later. I would certainly notice a hood vibrating at 80 mph. Like a lot of people on this forum complain about things I never had a problem with.I’ve had two bronco sports with deflectors and two without. One with and one without was a 1.5L and one with and one without was a 2.0L. They all vibrated, some closer to 70+ and some closer to 85+.
No offense, but either yours is special or your not observant is my non-scientific conclusion.![]()
85-90 mph never a problem eitherI have the deflector and have seen these reports but haven't noticed a problem, did 95 mph once just too see, had minimal vibration (95 is not a typo)
I am on the opposite end of that spectrum ? 19yo and first car I ever bought new, last one was a hand-me-down toyota highlander, but yes, I agree, in my case and sounds to be in yours too, very minor shaking, minor being it's better than the 1977 el camino that has been in my family for 45 years, it has really bad hood shake, and that sucker is steel ??Lol 70yo and 110 cars later. I would certainly notice a hood vibrating at 80 mph. Like a lot of people on this forum complain about things I never had a problem with.
Mine is the 2023 Outerbanks, and with the deflector, I have no hood vibrations at all. I've had the BS up to 80 MPH, and again, no vibration.I have the deflector and have seen these reports but haven't noticed a problem, did 95 mph once just too see, had minimal vibration (95 is not a typo)
Especially if it involves a large plate of pinto beans...I think there are a lot of factors at play here. The video from OP was taken from a very low perspective, which makes hood movement much more apparent. If your seating height puts your head up high toward the roof, hood movement may not be so noticeable. In addition, "tremor" can be a very subjective term. One person's tremor is another's earthquake.
Have you been talking to my wife?Especially if it involves a large plate of pinto beans...
Perhaps my wife has been talking to herHave you been talking to my wife?

Wait...what? 4 Bronco Sports within 2 years?I’ve had two bronco sports with deflectors and two without. One with and one without was a 1.5L and one with and one without was a 2.0L. They all vibrated, some closer to 70+ and some closer to 85+.

And a BroncoWait...what? 4 Bronco Sports within 2 years?
I don't understand what you are trying to explain. If the bracing isnt attached what is it supporting then ?It is not air being trapped. There is no bond between skin and under hood skin bracing
