Actually yesterday ... new tires and wheels. Sparco Gravel wheels and KO2 245/65/17. I love them! Thank you @RodNSA for the wheel inspiration and @Discount Tire for being a first-rate company to do business with.

I put that insulator on but added the fender apron insulators too (M1PZ16E133A & M1PZ16E132A) that get wedged in the fender area above and forward of the wheels. While I was at it I installed the hood side weatherstripping which may help with hood shakes at higher speeds (M1PZ16A239A & M1PZ16A238A).
With the hood weatherstripping is Left and Right facing the engine bay or sitting in the vehicle? Just want to make sure.

Not a permanent mod, but an effective one nevertheless... for those interested in taking videos of the BS on the move... great sunction and more than capable of holding an action camera but also use with my large rigs... granted no freeway speeds when I use the bigger cams... but not a problem with a GoPro like In these... pics : )

I paid $59 as a RENEW from Amazon... but even at full price of $109 it's well worth the cost. For my needs had been looking at comparable kits that ranged from $400 to $1200... ouch.,..

@cario65 … would you be able to post a couple pics showing the fender apron insulators M1PZ16E133A & M1PZ16E132A (that get wedged in the fender area above and forward of the wheels) that you installed? I think those were installed at the factory on my ‘22 Badlands.

So this is where I put them. They are different shape. The larger one is on the left (drivers) side. Right side is smaller and I put it where it is because of the space between the windshield fluid reservoir and the fender. Where are yours if you have them.

What benefits do the fender insulators have and is the installation simply a tuck the insulators into the fender opening?

Thank you for posting the two pics! My ‘22 Bronco Sport Badlands does not have either of the fender apron insulator pads (M1PZ16E133A nor M1PZ16E132A).

I have some thin foam roll insulation that I may just cut to fit in that space. May be better than the thin felt from Ford.

True benefit of the fender insulators you have to ask Ford engineers. But like any insulation, noise and temperature would be my guess.

These pads are not the same thickness as the dash panel insulator pad in the engine bay. The fender pads are about 1.5” thick.

I was looking on the part location graphics on parts.ford.com just because and saw a bunch of these insulators and weather strip. They weren’t on my BL but must be there for some reason so I installed. Kinda like the pencil/pen clip that goes in the center console lid that Ford did not install (YS4Z19A377CA) and I said I want that.

I actually have the fender insulation when I looked this morning. 5/23 build. I probably can add a piece to fill in the passenger side more.
'The Colonel has a 6/23 build and doesn't have the small rear area insulator pad and fender insulators. More and more items being deleted for cost savings. I wonder what deleted items the '24 model will have.
