The A/C suddenly failed on my 2021 BSBL at 19,000 miles. It's still under warranty. The dealer diagnosed a failed compressor and "special ordered" a new one. Unfortunately, they said it was on backorder, no other dealers were willing to sell one if they had any, and no estimate on timing. I also heard from a dealership employee that they have 29 a/c compressors on order! (Not sure if they are all for Bronco Sports....but still....that's a lot of compressors to be waiting for.)
Anyone out there have a suggestion as to how to get an OEM compressor? The part number they ordered is LX6Z-19703-U.
I live in the desert southwest. It's July. It's HOT. It's unbearable to drive the car during the day without a/c. Uncomfortable, but tolerable, to drive at night when the temp "cools" down to 90.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
