Advisement on removing Aeroskin II textured hood?

It came on the BS I bought, wife is wanting to take it off, I didn't install so I'm not sure how to go about removing it, I was fidgeting with it this morning for a hott min and pulling up on the edges, thing seems on there pretty damn firm, not wanting to hurt any paint or antying. Advice appreciated.

It's held on with double sided tape. You can use the fishing line method as described in this video:





Or just tell the wife "no".

Wait for a hot day and use the fishing line method described above. You will then need a lot of goo gone, and a good wash with a random orbital polish afterwards. Do not try to pry it off, as that is how you can damage your paint, or the piece.

Sweet thanks gentlemen, It's hott today and I got a heat gun and some fishing line lol. I have removed emblems before just was not sure how this one was mounted on.

Got it off and all glue cleaned off took me bout 30 mins easy peasy. Gotta say wife was right on this one gives it a cleaner look I think

Took a couple rocks to the windshield already with that thing on so your point seems moot.

Isopro alcohol that's what we used to take the tape off when we f### up a window plane let it Soak in and then carefully with a plastic spatula pry it up and off

The only difference I've noticed after taking mine off is my hood doesn't shake violently at 70+ mph, I'm OCD with that stuff I couldn't handle it.

It may have saved many more from striking your windshield, can’t stop them all I guess.
