Needed tires badly and do a good amount of highway driving then a bit of off-road during the fall months. I think the KO2s look great and the white letters are classic but I couldn’t justify all the mpg drop I was reading, plus weight. I also didn’t want to buy anything solely based on looks. This was a medium that I’m happy with. Discount Tire mentioned they’re not seeing many people get these but also many people don’t know about them. 245/65/17

These look great! Did you end up putting a lift on your Big Bend, or is this still stock?

I’ve got a 1.5” level kit on it. I’ve read that 245/65/17s will fit stock height as well however.
Awesome :) I want to put a lift on mine but I am sort of waiting for a friend to get his shop lift up and running before doing that. And I think I'll need new tires before the shop is ready HAHA.

@greengrass47 the truck looks fantastic with the white letters. The Trail Terrain T/A is new to the market and not many have them on there vehicles currently, but with more positive reviews like yours, that should change very soon. @SapphireCat there are plenty available for order and fit is not an issue without a lift.

I think this is the way that I'm gonna go when my wife's OBX needs some new shoes. Can't justify pulling the stock Michelins at the moment, because we mainly do highway and around town in the summer, but come fall the BS might get these as an upgrade.

What's the weight difference between these and the K02 AT's. I know the Falken Wildpeak AT3ws in 245/65 are like 7lbs lighter then the K02's in the same size. Hell even Wildpeaks in 255/70 are lighter then K02's in 245/65. According to Tire Rack.

I put them on my vehicle in a 235 tire size. I did see a drop 1-2 in the mpg. I’m in California so the gas is expensive. Otherwise I would have put the 245 tire size. The other thing that everyone overlooks is with the larger tire size will the turbo kick in more often and what’s the cost to replace 1-2 turbos at 150k miles.
