2023 owners. Does the usb port under the hvac controls light up? On my 2021 they do. On my 2023 they do not. Do I have a defect?

Sorry for trying to be helpful jeeze lol. All I was saying is that the same sort of thing happened with the switch from MY21 to 22 so that is a likely cause. No need to be rude

I was'nt trying to be rude. But for all the reasons you mentioned is why I was asking 2023 owners specifically. Ford or the dealer did not mention anything about the hotspot being deleted yet its not there and Ford reminded me to activate my free trial

It's really these minor details that you take for granted until they aren't there. I didn't mind not having the temp readout on the dial for instance in my 2022, but have never really noticed the lights around the USB ports until you mentioned it. Then last night I glanced at them and thought how annoying it would be without them. Unfortunately you noticed it right away as an owner of a 2021 that has them. First time owners won't know the difference.

Lighted USB Ports joins the list of non provided parts and soon there will be the 4 hour YouTube videos to disassemble and replace with the ‘21/‘22 USB module or maybe get one of these to keep tabs on the battery voltage and it’ll provide just enough illumination to see the ‘23 USB Ports although it both looks like it could cover up those Ports and provide two additional Ports.

A little late, but ditto. My 2021 lit up, my 2023 does not. Very irritating.

I complained about it and they replaced it under warrenty.

Just wait and see how much the MSRP goes up after the current strike is settled. The consumer ultimately pays for higher wage demands.
