Ok thanks that is great to know. So I would order directly from your site and you would ship it to me . I live in Maryland and I use dirt nerds in VA for my upgrades and I off road the vehicle at the cove. So I guess I am looking for comfort but able to off-road when ever I want .
If you plan to have it installed at Felix Performance (with us assisting in the install/ set up) you can do everything through Felix Performance as I've given Melanie a heads up on what you want to order. If you are planning to install elsewhere, you can order the suspension and the subframe spacer kit from our site.

The FlatOut kit won’t arrive until next year (probably January). I have been running the HRG lift which is okay but I’m hoping the adjustability of the FlatOut kit will make some of the “shudder” go away. I just find that when I hit a sudden bump in the road that the whole vehicle will move around more than I think it should. It’s been a long time since I’ve owned anything that resembles a truck.
For what it's worth, our lifted (2.0 front/ 1.5 rear) has no shudder or anything and I absolutely love driving it any chance I get. I've had a guy pick up and drop off the BS to do a hitch and when he returned (he has a Wrangler) he said "I wasn't expecting the ride to be that nice with the offroad suspension and tires...can you make one for my Jeep!?"

I’m getting lots and lots of emails about installs happening! Lots of orders too! I’m shocked at how many Bad Lands people are going with our GR40!

The promo thing should’ve ended already, but I’ll let one more sneak in before these go to normal price.
I currently have the rough country kit with hrg sway bar links and its okay for a spacer. That being said all of my other cars have had coilovers for example my srt4 with bc coils, my mk4 gli had fks, my b5 s4 had konis and my frs had bc coils and currently has ohlins.

I am new to lifted vehicles and I am considering your kit but when it comes to spring rates and suspension stats needed.

I do quite a bit of highway driving, i have a 300 foot mud driveway to my property which will have a house soon, i live in the snow belt and do quite a bit of hiking in remote areas where a dirt, bumpy, rocky, puddled and horrific road could be 15 miles long. Do you have any suggestions on which kit is the go to? Also the reason I went with ohlins and bc for so long was the ability to buy parts to rebuild my set up from swift springs to valving does flatout offer that?

So far I was looking at the GR sport kit.

For spring rates, we were able to put the OEM shocks on the dyno to guess thee rates Ford used as at the time, it was unknown. In our testing, we pretty much nailed it in terms of rates you can do. If you were to order the comfort option for the suspension, it would have rates similar to OEM. If you aren't doing a tire carrier or towing, the comfort will be plenty fine.

As far as which one to do, I can't tell you how to spend your money, but we do more of the GR40 set ups for the Bronco Sport by a wide margin. I think it's about 5/1 vs the other two combined (Lite & Plus). Maybe this will help: https://flatoutsuspension.net/blogs/news/which-gr

Can I ask which shop is doing this install. I live in Maryland not sure if you are in the state. I am getting cold feet about this suspension since the shops have no experience with it and the shop recommended to me by flat out only does Subarus .
I’m a long way from Maryland. I’ll be doing the install myself. Really any reliable shop should be able to do a suspension install. Getting it aligned afterward though does require a shop with the right equipment and knowledge.

If it helps at all, I’m new to lifting a vehicle too. Previous car was a ‘12 Golf R on RacingLine coilovers. The last time I had a truck was 96-98 but that was before my modding days began.

Good choice!

My wife has a mk7 GLI and is getting a four door bronco (i know i have the baby one) and I am ordering a new s3 (pretty much a golf r) we are both keeping our broncos and euros.

I got it because I have my FRS which is more of a track project these days and we have a 6 year old a beagle rott mix and a pure bred rott. We spend more time in areas where there are more dirt roads than concrete.

Not exactly a startup as the company name has been around for decades, I seem to remember, but the previous owner, of at least 3 known, ran the product and company in the ground, from what I read on a Subaru forum. The current owner (s) took over near the beginning of 2020 and have actively pursued trying to make up for previous problems. I believe all their current products are the creation of the new owner and no old designs are currently offered.

We should give them a break, unless they prove to be problematic. They are a Forum sponsor!!! I know that doesn't make them the GOAT but they are the first to offer coilovers for the BS. Had Eibach or KWsuspension come out with coilovers at the same time I would have bought one of theirs. A good coilover will be better than any spacer or spring lift, in many ways.

I will be using my Badlands on 2 or more off road trips and several hundred miles before I put my Flatouts on and I will keep you guys fully informed as to my comparison between the oem and Flatouts. Things I'll compare are; differences in noise level and ride harshness., Any difficulty in installation or adjustability and any problems that might arise form installing them at the recommended height. If they recommend a 1.5" lift that's where I'll put them. If they recommend 1.5-2.5", I'll do 2". If the springs sag any after the first two weeks I'll tell you and how much. I'll also do a before and after articulation test.

I'll be in the shop, standing by the car when they are installed, by my trusted friend who has installed 4 or 5 sets of coilovers for me over the years and I can't tell you how many times, at my request he either changed the springs on them, to something else (Longer, shorter, stiffer or softer). He also does my alignments and corner balancing. I taught him everything I knew about Subaru performance suspension setup decades ago and he has taken that to a whole different level with many types of cars and people come to him from more than a hundred miles away.

Sorry if that was long winded.
Curious how it has been with the flat out . Did you end up sitting it at 2. Curious how close to oem confort it has been with the lift.

Are you planning on removing the hrg lift spacers when you install the Flatout suspension

I can't wait to hear about them!

From looking at the pics on their site it looks like they have a real quality product. It is hard to tell via picture but after using a few brands of coilovers throughout the years it looks as though they used quality materials, and the welds look pretty great too.

That’s odd about the shop; we did the very first install on our Bronco Sport with them as we wanted a local installer to work with that would be familiar with it. Maybe Melanie (who you might’ve talked to) was just unsure about it, but the owner is very familiar. In fact, if you went there, one of us would go there to lend a hand as we typically do assist them on installs.
Can you tell me what the status of my order is, I have not been able to reach Felix performance

If you plan to have it installed at Felix Performance (with us assisting in the install/ set up) you can do everything through Felix Performance as I've given Melanie a heads up on what you want to order. If you are planning to install elsewhere, you can order the suspension and the subframe spacer kit from our site.
I was trying to get hold of you through your chat. My install is in a few days. Wanted to check since I am getting the gr40 can you confirm that link tabs are not welded to the shock body assuming the link tabs are still threaded and adjustable. Also I have the badlands I recently modified jcr passenger and evap skid plates to fit and I have the go rhino rock sliders so I have another 150 or so pounds of increased weight. I have the hrg lift which will be removed it gave me about a total of 10 inches, ideally would like to have close to 11, 2 inches greater than stock. Will your springs still work. I can order my own if needed. Also stated earlier I don’t use my car as a mall crawler I off road it frequently because it is small and fits the rocks and wooded trails that are in the Maryland DC and Virginia area.

Hopefully @Flatout Suspension will reply to you. So far they are ghosting me. I have PM’d them here and submitted a warranty request on their website. I would advise you to spend a half hour looking at the parts before your installer gets started. I found some issues that need to be addressed with mine.
