We had an Eruption Green Badlands schedule yesterday so I say the information was wrong. I apologize for this post. Won't happen again by me.
You were only sharing what was told to you. No worries. And glad its not a constraint. Cheers.

Tim, Keep doing you and don’t let the few who don’t know win. The information you provide here and in your live stream is valuable and important. I appreciate all you put in.

I think the roof should be body color on all models except heritage.
That's pretty funny. Well I think the heritage should be the only model with matching roof and body color.

Just to add to the fun in this thread:

When I ordered my ā€˜22 Badlands (beginning of May ā€˜22) I was very specifically not able to have a Carbonized Gray roof on a Carbonized Gray body. I even made a joke to the salesguy that Ford clearly wanted to make matching body-roof an OBX exclusive thing.

At some point I noticed that everything flopped- the language and the images in the online build-a-Bronco configurator made it clear that you couldn’t have a black roof with a Carbonized Gray body. I shrugged, because what could I do at that point? I figured I got whatever came in.

I ended up with a Carbonized Gray roof on a Carbonized Gray body, which looks even better than the black roof would have so I am perfectly happy. But it was a squirrelly process full of uncertainty.

It’s been that way all of ā€˜22 and we shall see for ā€˜23. I’ve tried to explain it on this forum and even specially on this post but there are some that for what ever reason fail to accept that this is fact. Similar to the ā€œmissingā€ passenger panel.

I’m glad you are happy with the outcome. I was as well. It’s really too bad that Ford can’t seem to make the configurator work as it should.
