Folks, just received and installed the Rival skid plat on my BS OB. It turned out awesome. I did run into a couple of small issues when installing but nothing that a DIY'r can't over come. Rival has done a great job insuring that no customization needs to be done in order to make the part fit a non-BL sport. Follow the accompanying guide and you shouldn't have an issue with the install. My total install time was about 30 minutes start to finish.

I oiled that screws and pre-set them to remove any burning. Not much noted.

OEM plastic cover to remove.

Insert wing tabs where indicated in guide.

And, install..., way better!!

Be careful if you get oil changes done at dealer since they don’t know how to put bolts or washers back in the right spots. Make sure you look over it after any dealer work. I’ve had to fix mine twice after work was done.

Good to know, I saved all my OEM parts and panel so either I'll put them back on or just remove the plate myself and take it in that way.

At that point your more then half way there if you take the skid off. Another 20min you can do an oil change!

True on the Tremor, some internals were relocated to allow the BS style bumper. As no one has hands on yet so we'll be wait and see for a few weeks. I've got one on order but it will be awhile.

Don't get too excited you still have to remove the skid to get to the oil filter. Rival should just save the money and make the skid solid without that access panel.

It’s super beefy 1/4-in aluminum. And way lighter than e.g. stock thin steel Badlands under guard (which doesn’t have any ports at all, see attached).
