I went with the Falkens, too. 235/65R17. I have a matching spare rim and it fits in the spare tire well just fine. I can’t get the nut on, but it doesn’t seem to matter. Mine went on Wednesday. I also had black locking lugs put on.

Strange mine went on just fine for the spare.

BTW the guys at my local one blew my mind. They were like the NASCAR pit crew. I rolled up at 8am and was driving away at 8:25am total efficiency.

Jane has a matching spare rim as well. I had the same issue. I designed a new nut but used a printed plastic washer and M10 nut for safety purposes until I find time to print the final version.

Ahh I see the difference. My spare is not the same wheel as the other 4. It looks like the steel wheel option. Should it have been the same? Or did you purchase a matching wheel for the spare?

He purchased the rim. The spare doesn’t match.

I bought the matching wheel and tire to put it into the rotation cycle. Whether or not that makes the most sense, I don’t know but it’s what I did. I don’t get accused of making sense to often!

No problem I understand, some people couldn’t understand why I replaced perfectly good Perrelliā€˜s (only 600 miles on them) with the Falkens. But hey it’s what I wanted. Lol

I’m not sure anyone would blame you for replacing the Pirelli’s. They are ok for a street tire but I don’t consider them an AT. My old Pirelli spare on the steel rim is in the garage attic as a spare for my spare.

Just got back from a week-long work trip. My boyfriend surprised me and installed my Gatorback mud flaps and my Thule cross bars while I was away. I'll grab some photos in the morning. My Badlands is looking like the total package!

Dang, that first pic is a Ford commercial waiting to happen. Looks awesome!
Yes but after watching a lot of overlanding videos and off roading videos I had a negative thought. Why did you pull off the sand/trail/parking area into the grass? Tread lightly, Leave no trace.

This is what I did, too. I plan a five tire rotation. I also had a tpms put in the spare So it should be recognized once it goes on. I know a lot of people don’t agree with a five tire rotation, but when it’s time for new tires, I don’t want one that has no wear that I need to match. I had a full size spare on my truck and did the same thing.

Mine had 8000 on them. It would have been a better price if I had ordered them with the vehicle, but I honesty didn’t see that option. Too intent on other things at the time.
