Changed out the Continental 225 65 R17 factory tires for the BF Goodrich Trail Terrain 235 65 R17 tires and am so thrilled I did. Love the ride and the more bada$$ look! I also added the rear window decal of the bucking bronco and the flag. Love!

How do you like those tires? I am thinking of going with those too. I absolutely love the BFG All Terrain tires but they are expensive and a little more than I need (probably). I am not a serious off roader, and my Big Bend is also my every day driver. I just want to be confident on most forest service roads and the like. Just wondering if you like their performance on the road and off the road?

Installed the HRG - Badlands Lift Kit on the BoxerBronco!

Install was very straightforward. Again, a shout out to Ben @ HRG who answered a last minute technical question on a Saturday no less!

Also went with the BFG Trail Terrain tires. We really didn’t need the aggressive tread of the K02…these seem to be the best of both worlds and carry the winter snow peak rating that will give us a discount on insurance. I will say that on a nearly new vehicle the BFGs offered an immediate improvement in feel, and…shockingly…are quieter than the OEM Pirellis! The look of the tire takes the Bronco Sport to a new level.

The Ford Accessories rear spoiler was a cinch to install and is a welcome improvement to the hatch area as well.

Really nice. Is that a Joe Fairlane edition? I've had my eye on those as well. Really wish he'd offer a "core" price for the old emblem. I can't justify the $100 as nice as they are.
this one is from emblem city , yeah i know the price is steep but i did not like the look of the blue logo in contrast to the cactus grey paint job, the vinyl overlay was good enough for a while but i just bit the bullet to get a properly painted emblem. it’s a one time investment to get a look i much prefer ???

Other than just putting in the tray behind the screen and a center console organizer…

I put a Hi-Viz vest, jumpers, and a tiny multi tool in the rear seat storage.

And then I installed the redline hood struts.

Those were exceptionally easy, maybe 15 minutes of work which is all I can stand to do out in the heat today. ?

As my brother was coming over to help me put on the Body side molding, I decided that in addition to washing the BS I’d ceramic coat as much as I could before he got here. Didn’t do wheels or roof but my new wheels go on in a day or two anyway, then it’s off to the mountains this weekend, for the meteor shower and some more serious off-roading.

Just in case someone think that a detail spray is the same as a ceramic coat, I just want to say that it isn’t. These coatings are good but they aren’t the same thing. The Turtle Wax stuff is surprisingly good and it will last 6 months or so. It’s also very easy to apply. However a true ceramic coating is good for at least 2 years but requires a fair bit more effort.

Overall, if you are willing/able to wipe the car down with the Turtle Wax stuff after every wash, or every other, you are probably going to be very happy with the results.

A week ago Friday, I had Twilight ceramic coated and a front end PPF applied, so today I gave her a nice hand wash and dry (of course, it is now raining, so that was a nice exercise - but I don't ever complain about rain). I also installed my rear quarter window vinyl decals (finished just as it started to sprinkle...):

I got the decals from Diamond Vinyl Decals on Etsy - watched their video and it was pretty straightforward.

Are you putting on the OEM body side molding? I would love to hear your thoughts on it when you're done - I've been thinking about it just to help prevent people in my parking lot at work from putting a bunch of dings in. I know on my CR-V that saved my doors.

What is nice is that even though it rained on the clean car, it will still look a lot better than it did. I’ve always been happy with how much better the car looks after a wash/rain than it does after a dirty car/rain.
