Hi!

What options would I have for a Bronco Sport grille that doesn't have the BRONCO cutouts? I thought about removing the letters, removing the grille face, filling with epoxy and then sanding down, but that seems like a great way to mess it up. I could order a separate grille to experiment on, but was hoping I missed some fabricator website gem.

I haven't seen any after market products through my searches.

I'm open to suggestions!

For reference: I don't love in-your-face branding. My laptop has no exterior branding of any kind, and that aesthetic lets me do what I like instead of settling for what's there. I love the BS! Just not the branding.

I feel the same way and I’ve had the same luck finding something aftermarket.

when ostentatious branding becomes a detraction
look to the base trim grill for model concept
blk on blk works very well
overlays may be the answer

Potential costly fail, BUT, dang that's something I would like to see!

EDIT to add pics

Well, maybe yes, maybe no.

Some may say it's not a Bronco, but they can't say it's not a Ford.:sunglasses:

That "FORD" lettering is the worst!

My current plan is to remove the letters, shave the height down so they sit flush, paint match them to the grille color, and glue them back in. I think that will make it much more subtle without removing all of the detail.

That is the exact grill I have in my C300 Cabriolet. One of the classier grills ever imo

Yeah, times have changed
I'm a relic of the past
wondering now if modern conveniences are really convenient
missing the past
things were much simpler
realizing I wasn't meant for the "plugged in" lifestyle

I think a plain old Bucking Bronco in the middle of the grill would look awesome too (similar to Mustang grills)

If you are trying to hide the word “Bronco”, I would just use the grill colored vinyl letter labels.

See I like the blank because I could then do my own lettering without worrying about a recess. Just like the hitch letters.

I miss that little swing open window vent that was by the side mirrors.
If I could redesign my base models so many useless gizmo’s
1: Make GOAT vanish. No user button just an AWD system that worked in all conditions without any driver input.
2: No Auto Start/Stop, maybe a on/off toggle switch for city drivers.
3: I’d have an 8 disk CD player, In Dash of course and hooked up to a BOSE sound system with a 12 band EQ.
4: Out goes the info screen screwing up the middle of the dashboard. It’s useless once you eliminate all the crap in it.
5: Id keep Bluetooth (C-usb)
As for the engine options id not change that. I like my 1.5L turbo.
I’d get towing capacity up to 3,000 pounds.
6: Headlight cooling fans, I’d keep those, love the tech on that one BUT ! They’d only come on when hot not every time I open the friggin door.
Oh yeah there’d be a plug in charge up hybrid option with the 1.5L
On electric only a max speed of 55 and level ground light load range on all electric would be 60 miles.
And most important ! The user decides when to engage the gas engine. Maybe a power meter showing the suggested time, say at 30% battery.
Oh crap. I just realized it would take an owner with some smarts to drive a car without all the useless toys.
Never mind.

What in the world does all of that have to do with a conversation about the grille?
