Ordered 2/16, went into production today (6/20). Got the window sticker. Upon looking at it, I noticed two options I selected (moonroof and 360 assist+) are completely absent from the order. Contacted my dealer, and they were confused as well as they could see the option on my order and the lack the option on the manufacturing side. They aren't sure how those two got dropped between point A and point B.

Any suggestions on how to proceed? My dealer said they were going to reach out to someone ASAP and see if they can get it changed, but I'll be shocked if that can actually happen this late in the game. Given that it's been 4 months already before production even began, am I just hosed here? It seems like my only two choices are accept not having these options or wait another 4+ months. Also, how does this happen? I have my order sheet that matches my order number and the two options are literally on the page, so I don't understand how this could have even happened to begin with. Any ideas?

It will be hard to get it changed at this point, sadly. Your dealer working up through the district rep and Ford corporate might be able to get the options added back on, but it might get you kicked out of line. Do the options show on the tracker webpage?

Sounds like a major quality control issue. I'd press the dealer for a corrected order, and a major discount!

No, the options are definitely missing on the tracker webpage. They probably always have been, and I just haven't noticed. I only noticed this time because of the window sticker. Options are definitely missing, just a mystery of why given that they're on the preview order form print I have.

Yeah, may be easier said than done though given that I have AZ pricing. Can't really go much lower realistically. As for corrected order... Well, if it means I'm delayed a few weeks, sure. A few months? That's a tougher situation.

Sounds to me like the dealership effed up the order. Ask them to see the DORA, if they have it. I'd get on the horn with Ford chat tomorrow (I think they just closed for tonight) and start raising hell. My opinion of dealerships right now isn't very high.

Is the DORA some sort of order confirmation between Ford and the dealer? I'm trying to figure out exactly what questions to ask to figure out which side screwed up (likely the dealer I agree).

When I first got my VIN and Order Number I went through every single optioned on the tracker web site to make sure it got sent to Ford correctly. Once window sticker is created too late to change it.

I would contact dealer see if maybe they have a dealer stock order in the queue that can be changed and spec'ed the way you want it.

I hope you get this worked out. Regardless of the debate on the Ford Assist+ option here, I recommend you do NOT give up on getting a Bronco Sport with Assist+. If you had adaptive cruise before this is especially true. The lane centering feature is also is amazing.

Quite a disappointment. 360+ is definitely worth having. I’m waiting for a delivery mid July that has it. The dealer screwed up my order also. I ordered the cargo Managment system, they ordered the cargo mat, instead. And adding the cargo Managment system now is out of the question. I saw that you mentioned A-Z pricing. Some dealers here in Tennessee, citing the bad economy, are refusing to accept A-X-Z plan. If they try to pull that on me, I’ll refuse the BS and go to a dealer in Franklin, Ky. that has no problem with AXZ. If that happens, not only will I be sure to get the order right, but I’ll have another 4-5 months to save $ for the deal, and probably get a 2023 model as well. Chin up, and keep us appraised.

P.S. I ordered mine February 28, every option except the moonroof, and mine was built June 2nd. Weird.

The problem is that refusing the order is basically rewarding the dealer. They will sell your vehicle within the week (if not the day) and at full MSRP or even with a few thousand ADM. You will stand on principle and they will laugh all the way to the bank.

Huh. The same exact thing happened to me. I was going to custom order but the dealership I talked to had pretty much exactly what I wanted coming. I decided to snatch it and put a deposit on it so I'd only have to wait 2 months instead of the 4 or more months for custom ordering. I have pictures of the initial order with the order number on it, however, when I got the VIN number and looked up the window sticker it has COMPLETELY different options. Needless to say, I was rather pissed off.

Upon talking to my dealer (they have an extremely good reputation for our area) they apologized profusely and agreed to give me max trade in value on my current car for the "mixed up" one and had me custom order the exact one I want. They said they would offer max trade in value for when my order actually arrives several months down the road too. I'm quite nervous about this but I really need to purchase a new vehicle before the economy takes more of a dump. I want the warranty. I'm getting a color I didn't want but that I don't mind. The real kicker is I won't have the premium package which is a huge let down.

Let me know what you hear from your and/or Ford as it might help me out as well.

I’ll stand on principle and save 3K. Any day. I’ll also put the incident on the Ford employee’s page and warn everyone to stay away from their dealership. That’s about 3K people in my area, not even counting the employee’s friends they’ll warn away. They can laugh all day until they start wondering why their sales are falling off. We’re already boycotting the Dickson, Tennessee Ford dealer for the same shit. Their salesmen are calling people that they sold to before trying to drum up sales, and being told no thanks. I can wait for a ā€˜23 BS. No problem.

My dealer straight up forgot to add my gray roof. Luckily, I caught it on the order form and hopefully had it corrected. Only time will tell.
In your case, unfortunately, it is probably too late. See if they'll cut you a bit more of a deal if you still buy this sport. They're selling for over sticker even for a used vehicle, so just put in an order for a new one with all your desired options and drive this one in the meantime.
