Found it. 29.5
225/65/17 => 28.5" no rub
235/65/17 => 29" no rub
245/65/17 => 29.5" no rub
235/70/17 => 30" probably rub at worst case (compression & steering)
245/70/17 => 30.5" definitely rub at worst case (compression & steering)

I went down from the 245/70 to 245/65 because too much rub on pinch seam, etc when on full lock or wheeling. Fit better before lift, but still rubbed. The lifts bring the wheel in a lil toward the strut tower since there isn’t an UCA. If I did it again, I would do the 245/65/17 and leave the BS BL without the HRG spacer kit.

So what is the outside overall of that size ? You think that would fit a first edition badlands ?

31.6” diameter

No way in H*LL that would fit without rubbing. I’m guessing that was a typo.

Hey all , just joined up and thought I would give you a quick rundown of the BS as it stands today.

I’m debating taking the rear spacer lift off to level the BS I was able to keep the front factory tow-hooks and paint them.
the tires do not rub but there are close at full lock.

2022 badlands
1.25” HRG Lift
245/70r17 BFG KO2
Fifteen52 wheels
Rough country nudge bar
Rhino rack pioneer platform
Magnaflow dual exhaust

Ford Bronco Sport 2022 Badlands lifted on 1.25” HRG Lift and BFG Ko2 56A25BB7-04C3-4CD8-B78A-D6D78DAEFCED
That looks amazing. Did you have to install a positive control arm for the rear when you added those tires? Just had an alignment after the same lift and the tech said I would need it for any bigger tires.

There’s no aftermarket arms out. Is stock. You need a more positive offset on your wheels than what the oem wheels provide to push the wheels out some since lifting these pulls the wheels inwards.

So how did you do it? Did you go without the rear spacers?

Your alignment guy doesn't know what he is talking about. There are probably at least 40 people on this forum that have done a lift and are running 245/65/17 (29.5") tires and don't have a "positive control arm" installed. Your posts are the first I have seen calling out such an item.

Not trying to be gruff, just stating the facts.

You’re not lifting enough to need adjustable arms. Mines HRG lifted same as OP and no issues. But did need the cam bolts. I did go down from 245/70-245/65s cause the rub was to much. If you’re gonna wheel the 65s are a better choice. The rear was fine even on the 70s. The front is where the issues are.
