Hello. I'm new here and hoping to get some input on tinting the windows.

I have a 23 BS Badlands and need to tint the front windows (to match the factory glass). I know the back side windows are colored glass from the factory (w no UV protection). I would like to leave those alone and just tint the front sides (and maybe a 4" strip across the windshield. Does anyone know if the factory glass is equivalent to 25%? 35%? (I am using ceramic tinting from a recommended tinting company.)

Does anyone have comparison before and after photos? Can you also say what the % is that you did? Has anyone else done ceramic on the front windows to match the back windows? What % did you use?

Also, has anyone tinted the moonroof glass? The sun has been so bright that I haven't been able to open the moonroof or keep it closed with just the glass closed.

Thanks for your input! :)

Here is a before and after. 20% tint matches the factory pretty closely.

That looks great! Do you have any issues seeing out the front windows when it's dark outside?

Looks great! Love the wheels on that one. By chance, do you have a moonroof that you tinted?

Why would you tint the sunroof glass? Just shut the slide door.
I went with the 27% which is the darkest legal in SC.

Does the 27% match your back windows or is it lighter? I don't want to slide the door closed on the moonroof. I'd like to keep the slide open for the light and openness that the moonroof provides but some days it's just too glaring to do that which is why I was thinking that I could tint it to tone down the glaring sun.

Lighter. It's tough enough to see at night. The back windows may be 15 or 20.

Yes, 20% for the front doors. I personally prefer to do the windshield with a 60 or 70% ceramic over the whole thing, versus the strip across the top. I get the heat rejection of the ceramic tint with little or no actual change to visibility and without the aesthetics of the dark brow.
