25% spell check tariff. ?Tarriffs on each vehicle coming into the US, incliding multiple tarriffs on parts, which cross the border multiple times.
Okay, now I get you. Usually when someone quotes, they name the source. No sir I didn’t say that… that was in quotes. A direct quote from our leader. The $100 billion of new annual revenue to the US means it goes to the government
Google this and you will see where the quote came from:
Who said tariffs would go into effect on April 2, the US would start to collect on April 3. The tariffs will be on top of levies already in place, the tariffs would result in $100 billion of new annual revenue to the US. tariffs are being cast as “permanent” and no exceptions will be negotiated
And this is not a political view just a simple fact, and this post hit the nail on the head. I have bought my last “American” vehicle. I just cannot see us hiring, training and developing competency before I die of old age.Tariffs are designed to bring manufacturing back into the US.
I mean we Americans have gotten away from a high number of high skilled intelligent people going into these jobs. Just a personal opinion. I’m not going to argue so if this post bothered you, either move on or respond and know I’ve moved on.What do you mean by “hiring, training and developing competency”?
This sums it up very well???The TDS in this thread is off the chain.
The United States is the second largest manufacturing nation after China. American manufacturing is valued in TRILLIONS of dollars.
Canada, Mexico and EU nations are not even close.
American and foreign companies will not sacrifice the enormous and extremely lucrative U.S. market in the name of politics to prove a point. Trump knows this.
Manufacturers will move to the U.S. whether they like it or not. Either that or their products will become less attractive to American consumers.
The U.S. is the top dog and has absolutely no obligation to any other country or company.
Leaving names and current biases out of the discussion I will revert to several thousand years ago:The TDS in this thread is off the chain.
