Have you seen these two threaded holes and bracket under the front passenger seat? What are them for?
Seems a good place for an extinguisher, but I haven't figured out how to strap it there yet.

If we can't find a use, maybe an attachment point to move floors around the manufacturing line during assembly?

Yeah that definitely was done post-production based on the jagged cuts. It looks to be a fire extinguisher mount, but without the the clamps/bracket that bolt to that and obviously the extinguisher itself? Have not seen that piece by itself before.

Hi Palom0,
I´m from Argentina too and I can confirm that´s the place to lock the extinguisher. I have bought both the holder and the extinguisher and attached to that piece of metal.
I think its mandatory here to have the extinguisher inside the vehicle...
Regards,
Edu

I would really not want that large-ish, rough cut through my rubberized flooring, just for that. Maybe could have just drilled those few bolt holes, even using spacers, to install that mount.

If my BS catches fire I'm not worried about putting it out, I'll try to remove my belongings and let her burn. Then my insurance company can sort things out.

Y’all need to remember Edu lives in Argentina. He has a Bronco Sport Wildtrak. There are some differences in the South American version, as well as different laws.

It appears to be mounted on the floor of the front passenger footwell just in front of the seat.

Exactly, that's requested by law here. Every car must have the extinguisher into the cockpit. Most of cars have a holder in that position, others on a side near the passenger legs.
