For me, it's more of a "want" than a need. My understanding is, they are/were standard on the BS higher end trims. They were never standard on the Base or BB.

Gotcha... We haven't gotten ours yet (still on order). So, do the BadLands come standard with that already?

I'm not sure... I think so. When you pickup your Bandlands... If it's not there, I'd ask about it.

learned a few things along the way

when the Harbor Freight guy says

..........all the parts are there
don't believe him

interior fuse panel
slot 15 & 16 (spare)
micro3 fuse
fuse tap in this slot was a slight challenge
stuck with that slot for sole purpose of the defeating the bastard

if the safety chain is too narrow to accept the hook pin
3 lb mallet removes the oval shape just enough
rounds out the link enough for the pin

Today’s NH class 6 road report, after yesterday’s off rodeo. Got suggestions from several locals on roads to try. We needed Every but of yesterday‘s training, our traction boards, to clear some rocks and our electric chainsaw to get some downed trees from across the road. Lots of spotting, scouting ahead and use of trail control. Pics are Some signs we encountered on the way out of one road and one road we didn’t enter. And, two of The people doing today’s rodeos cars.

I've been using the same basic set on my Fiesta ST for `4 years, except for that car they are orange. Really nice, don't corrode, and I've never had one come loose. But you do want to hand-tighten (no impact wrenches).

Once the weather warms, I'm probably going to paint the calipers red as well.

Are you putting on the OEM body side molding? I would love to hear your thoughts on it when you're done - I've been thinking about it just to help prevent people in my parking lot at work from putting a bunch of dings in. I know on my CR-V that saved my doors.

I owned a 2015 escape and we did the same thing to it, except the side molding, and had it 7 years. Was mint when we traded it for the Bronco sport.

The decal had to be moved slightly. I asked the Ford dealer to install the molding, however they hired a local body shop to do the work and reapply the badge. Apparently it was tricky enough that the Ford dealer didn't want to attempt it.
