Weird question: purpose of the image of a little car in the rear window of the 2021 Bronco Sport?

It's called an Easter Egg. It's a silhouette of the original Bronco. Nostalgia and all that. Look around on your car and you'll find a few more. Hint: look closely at your headlight lenses.
The wifey and I are a little apprehensive about getting the hatchback glass tinted on ours - A: don’t want to mess up the defrost grids and void any warranty B: don’t want to cover the silhouette and make it invisible!!!

You can always take it to a shop and discuss it with the technician. They might be able to hold up some samples to give you an idea of what it will look like.

What is the purpose of the image of a little car in the rear window of the 2021 Bronco Sport?
That's funny, I've had the car for 2 years and just noticed it a week ago.

Seems we missed the day-time running lights (at least on BL) — look like horseshoes, positioned to “hold the good luck”.
