Weird buzzing/grinding noise is when letting off the gas and also when I slowly accelerate I hear it too.

Hey does anybody have any clue what this weird buzzing/grinding noise is that I hear when I’m at a lower speed and I let off the gas? I also here it at the beginning of acceleration but it then disappears once at a higher rate of speed

It’s possible the sound is coming from this issue, read it over and compare the description to the noise you hear:

Manual Park Release Cable:

This cable runs from transmission by air filter box, under battery, through firewall, then to lower left hand dash. Hoses on top of transmission make the park release cable hard to see.

This may be due to an internal issue with the manual park release cable. If the noise is eliminated when the cable is disconnected from the transmission, install a new manual park release cable assembly LX6Z-7D246-T. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-05 > Automatic Transmission
