If you have a date that popped on that's the day they started actually building it. If everything tests well you will get the built email in a couple days
Yeah, I’m hoping. I even have the email from them that says it’s in production back in December. Just weird. Hoping it’s built this week ?

Sounds like just arrival, because mine as of last night now says status Empty.
Gotcha. It changed again this morning. Now it says “Actual placement of car”.

I heard from my dealer yesterday that they're not scheduling BS builds this week. So the wait continues.

Thank you for the update. Was really hoping for an email this week with a production date . . . now I will TRY not to compulsively check my email.

Dealer order I have a deposit on. Has been "In Production" since 12/9 and shows a delivery date of tomorrow still. Anyone else seen this/any chance it's actually going to be delivered? This was a part of the patch that got held back due to the chips.

Zero chance. ETA is meaningless until status is moved to Shipped or at least Built and I’m not sure why they show it prior to that. You can expect the ETA to be moved a month out soon.

Mine stayed at In Production for 6 months and the delivery date changed countless times.

I just called Norfolk Southern. Tracker says “R M T Y Port Wilmington 4:30pm”. Any idea what this means? Unless that’s the computerized voice trying to pronounce “empty”? The previous call said “actual placement of car” earlier this morning.

EDIT - I assume it means emptied. I just checked United Road and the status of my vehicle went from "inactive" to "Pending pickup"!

Thinking mine might be with yours. Was supposed to be delivered 1/8, then 1/10, and now 1/14. Hoping that 1/14 is the real deal!

Mine was offloaded in Loma Linda and now is at the loading ramp waiting for a delivery truck. I guess Loma Linda is where the offload most of the vehicles for SoCal

Waiting for a badlands!
I'm still in production since 12/22. Have a feeling my order to turn around time is likely going to be close to 5 months by the time I pick it up (being shipped to the Northeast) :(
I’m same as you. We’ve been trying to keep our cars going…. My husbands died this week. We thankfully have a summer car I took out of storage, but my BS needs to come ASAP.
