It doesn't look like there would be sufficient support for the side body panel (although I'll admit I don't know what's on the inside behind the interior panel). I just imagine it putting a nice dent in the side. Cheers!

Is this more for looks, as it does not look practical.

Is there an extension for that? The bottom rung is way off the ground. I guess you could use the tire to step up, but that looks awkward and the inconvenient. I doubt that body panel has enough structure to support the ladder.

I think a telescoping ladder would make more sense overall. More utility, not limited to one side, and can be used around the house when not needed on the BS.

I have been looking for a side ladder as well, I have a roof rack though so the high side would have to mount to that. Ive found a few that with minor modifications would work, the best Ive found have a plate on the low side that mounts to the underside of the wheelwell, avoiding questions of whether the sidepanel has enough integrity to support the weight of a ladder

Get on of those steps that hooks to the door catch just doent scrimp because you get what you pay for. You can move it from door to door side to side. That ladder looks fixed in place and it may make wind noise as well as increase fuel consumption. Just my opinion.
